Seeking Advice for Crib Toys

We didn't use crib toys for our older son (now 18 months) however our youngest (12 weeks old) has a mild case of torticollis. I've read that putting crib toys that encourage him to look left will help lengthen the short muscle that's causing his head to turn to the side. I only want crib toys that safely attach to the side of the crib and preferably that don't require electricity (batteries are OK). Any suggestions on stimulating, safe crib toys that I should try out? Thanks in advance!

Need Advise for a Friend

I have a friend with a 4 month old who can barely hold her head up on her own still and doesn't roll over yet. Do you think this is normal? The mom holds the baby all the time and she cries any time you set her down. Do you think the baby is delayed because the mom holds her too much and if so how do I tell my friend. I could really use some advise I don't want to over step my boundaries and tell her how to be a parent.
