Opinion on the 4Th Child-but We Really Can't Have More children...Please Help

Without saying what I really want to ask, I need an opinion. I have 3 healthy and happy kids. My lifestyle and my checkbook cannot afford another child. However, we just found out we are expecting-but it was thru a test bought at a drug store! The Dr's are not in today so I am cramming for advice on what to do. Have any of you terminated a pregnancy or know someone that has? I feel like a bad teenager you read about in a story for even thinking about doing what I am thinking to this potential pregnancy and don't know what to do. Please hlep...

Cloth Diapers - Making the Switch

I have a 27 month old son, a 7 month old son and we are starting to talk about our third, and final baby. We currently use disposable diapers for both boys, and I am hoping (fingers crossed) that my 2 year old will make strides in potty training before winter (he'll be 2 1/2 by fall). Has anyone out there made the switch to cloth diapers after a few years of disposable? Two kids in diapers is so expensive! It seems like the investment in cloth will save us money in the long run but my husbnad is very hesitant to make the switch... his...

Curves Work for You?

I've once again decided it's time to do something about my weight. I used to be thin and trim without trying, was very active in sports, aerobics, etc. Then kids came. I've slowly put on weight for the past 10 years. I've tried several "life style changes" (aka - diets). W.W. worked for a while several years ago, I've tried that recently and I just can't seem to stick to it. Also did Thin & Healthy, once again worked for a short while, couldn't handle it in the long run. Prism and I didn't work well together at all. We have a local Curves,...

PTSD - Sharing the Learning Curves

Do you have PTSD? I do. What's something that works for you when you have an episode (or just an anniversary) and still have to be the mom? Is there anything in particular you do to help decrease your daily stress levels? What about if you work full-time, too? I train in martial arts - at least 2x a week - and that somewhat helps with getting my headspace to stay better, but I'm currently feeling overwhelmed by life (and it's an anniversary time again) and the insomnia has been killing me. Add to that a particularly bad bout of PMS...

Curves or a Gym?

I'm looking to start exersizing on a daily basis. I'm not a fan of walking a treadmill and I do have some knee issues and an abdominal hernia. My doctors says I need to do "something" but they don't really tell you what. Should I join a gym or Curves? or start at home? any ideas for simple exersizes I can do myself would be helpful. PS my daughter will be joining/starting too.

Baby's Head Size

My son was born with a small head. He's now 3 months old and continues to be in the 1-4% for head size. My doctor is freaking me out about things that could be wrong. I would like to hear from moms who have kids with small heads too. Should I be concerned? To be clear, he's also at about 4% for weight so he's very proportional. And his head has consistently grown at each check-up. Add'l note: He is also meeting milestones appropriate for his age - he's smiling, "talking", laughing, follows things with his eyes, holds his head up very...

HCG Weight Loss Program

Has anyone heard of or tried this new weight loss diet? It is supposed to help you loose up to 30lbs in 30 days. I am really considering this, but I am kind of scared with trying something new. I have had 3 children and my youngest is 8 months old. We are not having anymore kids and so I really want to get back down to what I was 5 years ago. I tried the salads for every meal diet along with some excercise for almost 6 months and did not drop one pound. Everyday is a struggle for me. If anyone has ideas or knows anything about this...
