PLEASE HELP Get 3 1/2 Year Old Girl Dressed!

Hi- It is like pulling teeth to get my daughter (who will be 4 in December)dressed in the mornings. This all started with her saying that her shoes weren't comfortable. Over the summer, she pretty much wore one pair of sandals and that's it. So, when school started, we went shoe shopping and we have a closet full of shoes that are "just not comfortable". She now wears one pair of Dora tennis shoes and occasionally I can get another pair of dressier shoes on her. Well, now this "comfortable" idea is showing up with her clothes. She's...

I Hate "Boy Stuff" - Bad Mom?

Ask anyone - I am the froofiest, girly-est, pinkest GIRL you could ever imagine. So for me to have a BOY shocked everyone! I've been pretty good about it, but it's been wearing on me since Christmas with the addition of all of the "big boy toys". So here's my CONFESSION: I don't know how to play with trucks. I don't like to play trains. I hate to put Geo-Trax together. I'm tired of watching Thomas. I want to watch Cinderella and paint fingernails. I want to buy dresses and glittery shoes. I want to shop in the girls department...

Has Anyone Found Toddler Pajamas That Are Actually Comfy?

I am seriously irritated at how tight they make toddler pajama tops. Carters, Baby Gap, Old Navy, Children's Place, all of them. My 19 month-old little guy can't stand it, tosses and turns and yanks and fusses at how constricting the tops are. (It would drive me nuts if I had to wear something that tight too.) I even tried buying them in bigger sizes, and they are still tight, just longer and tight. I've had to stop using the pj tops altogether, and instead, dress him in long sleeve t-shirts to wear with the pajama bottoms. My little guy...

Looking for My 3T Outfit

I am attending a baptism and would like to find a nice outfit for my toddler (like a shortall or something that he can wear in warm weather). Unfortunately everything I see is really expensive and I can't afford it right now (I just quit my job to care for my toddler and my 2 month old baby, not to mention the hospital bills I'm getting). Does anyone have tips on how to save some money on this? Thanks!

Baby Shower for #2

I have a friend who lives out of town, but would like to come down and throw a baby shower for our second child. My DD is 19 months and will be almost 2 when the baby arrives. We don't need alot of "stuff", mostly clothes since #2 is a boy. She suggested we do a "gift card" shower, where guests would give us gift cards to HEB, Target, Carters, Molly maids, etc. Would this be appropriate? I feel kind of weird about having a 2nd shower, but we wouldn't be registering for anything, and I know that the Gift cards will come in handy once our...
