Desitin Makes Her Scream

My daughter (7 mos) is on an antibiotic that the doc told me would probably give her diarrhea...well it did and now her little bottom is all red. I put desitin creamy on it yesterday and she started screaming and kicking, so I wiped it off and she stopped. Then I used cornstarch powder instead. Today I have been using aquaphor, but then I decided to try the desitin again just in case it was a fluke..it wasn't, she screamed and kicked until I wiped it off. Store Brand Verses Name Brand

I have noticed such a difference in price when comparing name brand diapers and toiletries to store brand items. I have even seen Breck baby toiletries at the dollar store! I am all about finding a bargain, but not at the expense of my baby. So moms, I ask, how does the store brand items compare to the name brands? It is really a bargain or do you get what you pay for? What store brands have you tried and enjoyed?
