I was wondering if there are any moms who have had experience with infants and modeling. I've been told I should get my 6 month old into modeling but am not sure if it is a good idea.

I guess Caryn International is another modeling agency that doesn't charge. I've heard good things about them. I submitted a photo but didn't hear from them.

I tired to get my daughter into modeling when she was a baby also. I am with the other mom who said do not pay for anything! They are scams. My Daughter's agent is JMG Model & Talent and they are located in Downtown Mpls, the only thing with them is they do not call much to send your child on auditions. There are a few I recomend, NUTS Ltd. in Golden Valley, http://www.nutsltd.com/
Or Wehmann http://www.wehmann.com/# I took my daughter to Proex to get headshots done and they were cheeper than going to a place that they recomend, then I went to and made copies of them in Black and white which most places prefer for a headshot and on the back side print up your child name, height, weight, ages, shoes size, dress, pant & shirt size. I think they also want chest, hip and waist measurements too. It is a hard thing to get into because there are so many kids out there right now that are in this and auditions are long too. Look in the job section of the Sunday paper under auditions also, sometimes you can find open calls in there but be careful of the ones that are in hotels. Those are called cattle calls and 95% of the time it is for modeling schools and they want you to pay for their services to represent your child. Like we said, anyone who wants you to pay to rep. your child is not legit. I hope this helped and if you need more info contact me at ____@____.com

My Son has done some test modelng for Lifetouch and we have gone to a couple of modeling calls for Target. We sent his photos into Wehmann and More Creative. Beware there are some shady companys out there. The best advice tis to never pay to do modeling. Pay to have a good head shot to send to the Agencys but don'y pay. If they want you, you will get paid!

M.,
Here's what NOT to do. Do not PAY anything to have your child represented by a company! There are a few agencies in the Cities that will require you to have a website/page made for your child along with "professional" pictures. Of course, the expense for all of this is paid for by you! Don't do it! It's a scam.

A legit agency will represent you because they know they can get your child work-they won't need/want your $ to do that!

Hope this helps!
