Looking for Dual Jog Stoller/bike Trailer for Our Two Boys

My husband and I love to exercise outdoors and we want to start taking our boys with us now that they're both big enough to come along. My husband likes to jog and I like to bike. We'd like to know if there's a really good combination jog stroller/bike trailer for 2 kids. I've seen a few online, but am leary to purchase without seeing one in person. Thanks for the advice!

I would check out a resale shop. Most of these places will only take stuff that is in excellent to new condition. This would help save you $ and let you see one in person. I'm not sure where you live but there is a resale shop in Wauconda next to Jewel called Kinder Closet. It has been there for a few months and has a good selection of stuff.

If you're willing to spend a bit, I highly recommend buying a Burley. I bought a used one on Craig's list last year, and it has been great. It's a 2-person trailer that easily hooks up to a bicycle, but also has a wheel the folds out in the front and a handle so you can also use it as a jogging stroller. It's incredibly light and easy to move around. My husband likes it and used it a lot, too.

We purchased the Trek Go Bug which has been very comfortable for our first son who is now 2 1/2 (we started using it when he was 10 months old) and will have plenty of room when we add is little brother in it this summer. It is very easy to attach to the bikes. We bought the additional jog stroller tire which is larger than most trailers but you can balance the trailer pretty easy without the front tire as well for walking/jogging. We are very happy with the extra money we spent. We did do a lot of looking around and comparision shopping on-line and in the stores to find something that suited our needs and worth the money.

The Burley trailers or Chariot trailers are fantastic. I lean toward to Chariot but both have optional stroller wheel attachments.
