We are looking at 3- and 4-door fridges (fridge on top, freezer drawers on bottom). Please share with me your brand name, how long you've had it, what you LOVE about it, what you HATE about it. Thank you in advance.

What can I do next?

I have a higher end Kitchen Aid and LOVE IT.....

Before this one, I had the top of the line Maytag. It was a lemon and was replaced with the Kitchen Aid within 5 yrs.

I switched all of my home appliances to Kitchen Aid. LOVE IT.

I have a stainless steel french door with the bottom freezer. It's a Maytag and I love it. I checked the bottom freezers on many brands and this one had the more sturdy drawers in it and they slide and it holds quite a bit in the freezer. You can adjust the top shelves in the french door top and they pull out too and I really like it. I got the water/ice on the outside and love that too. I would recommned it. I think it comes in other than stainless if you don't like cleaning it.

Several years ago, we bought a black LG, 3 door. I really like it. I did not get the ice and water. I have a reverse osmosis water purifier and would not drink the unpurified water from the fridge.

We have an LG with the two bottom freezer drawers. I LOVE being able to seperate things AND not have to dig down so far. We also have the ice and water on the door, and it takes up very little room. However, the ice gets stuck sometimes, so that's a pain. But we love it.

It is stainless steel and sells for over $3500, we got it on Cyber Monday (if you can hold out a little bit) last year for $1400 (including taxes, delivery, installation, etc.).

I have a Kenmore Elite stainless steel.
It does not hold magnets and is impossible to keep clean.
I rub it with baby oil once a week or so. This is how Lowe's told me to clean it.

It is a two door on top with a bottom freezer that has no room.

The ice maker is not connected to the door so I can't get crushed ice.

There really isn't enough room, it's more show than function.

I have a french door fridge outside. It hold the milk and drinks. It is about 90 years old though and freezes everything. :o)

I have an LG French door model with ice and water. I've had it since April. I love it. It was a relatively new model last winter designed to minimize the amount of space used for the ice and water. The ice and water is probably my least favorite feature and I might have gone without it, but my husband insisted on having ice and water. It was the one feature that was really important to him. Oh, one other thing--there doesn't seem to be quite enough space for the really tall things, but maybe I just haven't adjusted shelves and stuff enough. I posted a question like this when I was looking and I know others have posted similar questions too so you might be able to get some good information and reviews by looking into the Mamapedia archives.

ETA: Mine is white, in part because of what another poster mentioned about the stainless not holding magnets and being hard to keep clean. I just like the white too, a personal preference.
