It's an awesome class. The results will depend on your frequency and what you're trying to accomplish. Doing that alone won't help you lose a ton of weight or get totally ripped, it will require a combination of classes, dieting, supplements, etc.
I lost all my baby weight and then some, primarily with Body Step but Pump helped tone me up and Flow helped with flexibility and muscle relaxation.
I did get better results attending a combination of classes than trying to do my own floor/weights routine.

YES!!!!!!! It is AWESOME especially if you do it every other day. If you do it every day it won't be enjoyable. Start w/low weights, so you can get used to the movements and pressure points on your body, because you will be either standing with weights, sitting w/weights or squatting w/weights. It is a total body workout, to say the least. And, th eplus side is, it ain't boring!

Once you go for a week or 2, start upping your weights. I know women in my class who have taken it throughout their pregnancies (w/doc approval of course).

It is one of the best classes out there b/c it is a mixture of weight training and cardio. Women need weight training b/c the older they get, their metabolism slows down. The bigger muscles you have the more they will be at work even when resting/sleeping, thus, keeping your metabolism in tip top shape.

Try it, you'll like it! And yes, you will definitely see results. I go tothe gym all the time and do weight training so I'm not sure how much weight I've lost from just Bodypump but it does help keep me in shape on days I don't run, walk or weight train.

GL!!!!

Yes!!! I joined Fitness Works in May '10...in 3 months of taking a mix of BodyPump, BodyStep & Zumba I lost 20 lbs!!! I then added BodyCombat into the mix sometimes. They suggest Pump 2-3 times a week, with a day off inbetween...that is the day I would do something more cardio like Step, Zumba or Combat. I definitely feel stronger due to Pump, which I've now done for 18 months on a regular basis.

Yes! I'm a Body Pump addict. I've been going for about 5-6 years. I like to go twice a week, but sometimes schedules and minor middle age wear and tear (I'm in my late 40s) slow me down to once a week. Any less than once a week and I find myself getting sore when I return. I do know people that do it sporadically though. I find Body Flow to be a nice compliment to it--it's good for stretching and flexibility. If you do Body Pump regularly the results are amazing. Don't give up if you don't like it the first couple of times or if you are really sore. It took me quite a while to get the hang of some of the moves. Most teachers are good at helping you out. If you are sore it is important to keep moving the next day so you don't get stiff. It is recommended that you take 48 hours off between BP sessions.

LOVE Les Mills classes - and Fitness Works has the best in the valley.

I've been a member for 2.5 years. Lost 30 lbs in the first 6 months, mainly just doing the classes. They are addictive.

If you are not yet committed to a gym, I am doing a fundraiser for my boys school - 90 days at Fitness Works for only $20. Plus, 10 free tanning visits, 2 weeks free childcare, and 4 free group personal training sessions.

Send me a personal message if you are interested.
