Stupid Question - When Will You Stop Referring to Your Los Age in Months?

Maybe I just don't want to think...or maybe it is a sign that I am just way exhausted, but when I talk to someone and they say "my 30 something month old" I'm like what?! I'm thinking that once my son turns 2, I'll stop with the months and just use the "just over 2, two and a half, almost 3" type thing. Again, this is just a stupid question. Please don't be offended at all if you still refer to your child in months, I was just wondering!!

Birthday Party for a 4 Year Old

What are some good cheap ideas for a 4 year birthday party? Money is pretty tight with the way things are and also the holidays so I don't want to spend a fortune on the party but he is older that he talks about his birthday party to his little friends at the daycare and wants them to come. He is very proud of himself for turning 4. I really don't want a ton of kids in my house since it is fairly small and I dont want to spend the next day cleaning. His bday is Jan 15th. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Snack Ideas for Preschool

I'm in charge of snacks once a month for my daughter's preschool. Due to choking hazards and food allergies, there's a long list of things we can't bring. We had orientation last night and didn't get suggestions, just what not to bring, which included anything with nuts, anything too sweet, raisins, hotdogs, popcorn, hard candy, etc...I need ideas for healthy snacks, help! Need Help Answering One of "Those" Questions to 4 Year Old

My son recently asked me how he came out of my belly? I said we went to the Dr and he helped take you out. Then he asked if the Dr. cut him out of my tummy. The answer would have been very simple had I had a c-section. I always try to be honest with my kids. But, with this question, I am struggling with an answer that's appropriate for a 4 year old boy. The correct answer in my opinion is way TMI for a 4YO boy. Any advice?
