My husband is returning to the work force on Monday after a long non-intentional hiatus. That's the good news; the bad is that we've been on the waiting lists for 3 different preschools for quite a while and the earliest anyone can take my sweet little boy (4 1/2 months old) is mid-October. Does anybody out there have any ideas of good quality places for infant care that might have room on an interim basis for the next month?
We must be living right, as it just so happens that another family was paying for a slot at Carpe Diem (where my daughter is), but won't be using it until mid-October. So, turns out they get some financial reprieve and we can use that slot for the time being...a win/win, and a God-thing, as the timing is much to perfect to be a coincidence!! Thanks to those of you who reponded, though...I was a little anxious and knowing trustworthy places is great for back-up purposes!

What are the hours and Where is work/home located?
There is a drop in child care center in Allen called the S.S. Noah Playcare Center. I know the infant teacher there, and she is wonderful! I hope this helps!
If you think that Carrollton is convenient for you, then I know the best there is, Her name is Mrs. Shamsi and she has a home day care. Every other mom that I have talked towhose kids were in her care they all just have posotive things to say about her. She is registered, and provides a food program for those who want it.
