I do not have personal experience with this company myself, however some of my friends do and they love it. It's called Kindermusic.

Hi Neelam,

I just enrolled my daughter at kindermusik, it's great.
In the near future I am planning on trying meridinamusic.com I have gone there and it also looks great.

Kindermusik has been great, we've been in it 2 weeks now and my daughter at 18 months is slowly loving it. I think they start at 18 months, but don't quote me on it.

They have several lovations, we're at the Fishers one and I htink they also have one in Carmel.

Kindermusik has classes for little ones your son's age. My daughter has loved her classes. In Fishers and Carmel, look for Musical Beginnings. The number is ###-###-#### to get more information.

I would recommend Music Playhouse (http://www.themusicplayhouse.com/Indy%20Pages/Home_Indy.html) We have taken classes through Kindermusik, which we did enjoy. However, that was before we knew about music playhouse. I think the instructors at Music Playhouse have slightly more realistic expectations for children and make the class more child-center than some of our Kindermusik teachers did. Part of what I love about Music Playhouse is that the classes are multi-age (birth to age 5), so if you have another child, they can attend class together. (Kindermusik is almost all age-based groups--I think they do have ONE family class offered at night) I did the age-based Kindermusik classes with my first and now he is old enough to go by himself, but I would have had problems taking my daughter to mommy-and-me classes because of my older son. But now, with Music Playhouse, we're all in the same class together! Instructors do make a huge difference and we currently take thru Music Playhouse from Holly McGuire, who is awesome! We have also done a classes with Jennie Carpenter and Amy Slade at Music Playhouse, both of whom were also good. But I would highly recommend Holly. Her classes tend to fill quickly though and they started enrolling for the spring quarter last week, so you may want to check into it quickly. We live in Carmel and our classes meet at St Christopher's Episcopal Church (1402 West Main Street, Carmel, IN 46032 (Near US31/Meridian and 131st/Main Street in Carmel)) But they also have classes that meet all over the city. Having done both Music Playhouse and Kindermusik, I would recommend Music Playhouse as best! But, no matter where you decide to take, have fun with your little one!!

You cannot miss with KINDERMUSIK...please visit this website:

My dear friend, Mrs. Kim Bemis, is the Director of this awesome program. They have MANY classes, for every age level, all over the area, incl. Carmel!

Be sure and tell Kim that Kim Thomas sent you! You will LOVE it! Two of my four kids have taken classes (the other two, no, only because of location and opportunity) and LOVED it. You'll meet some great moms, and your little one will love the time in class and the materials you get to keep at home!

I hope you'll give it a go!

Sincerely,
Kim Thomas
