I also recommend Dr. Mertes. He and his staff are great. I would go there if they took adults!

Dr. Mertes is in Hudson...actually across from Joann Fabric on Darrow Road. He is in the Summa/Childrens Hospital Building. He is strictly pediatric. I took my son for his first check up on his first birthday. We laid him between our laps it was great.

Drs. David & Jane Silk are wonderful. He does adults and his wife handles the little ones. They are in the same building, just across the hall from one another.

I took my three year old to Dr. Pollack in Cuyahoga Falls. ###-###-####. He was wonderful. I was terrified that my son wouldn't cooperate, but they knew just what to do. He even went back on his own without me.

Hi, I also live in Stow, and although I don't have a recommendation for this area, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ray Kimberly who is down in the valley...not too far, maybe 20 minutes or so. He is very very gentle, I have been going to him since I was a child, and have never been afraid of the dentist at all. He is very family oriented, and my whole family uses him. His 2 sons also work with him and are also very nice. I hope that he will still be in practice when my son is ready. Good luck!

My family dentist, who is wonderful with my children (3 and 5) is Dr. Robert Miller in West Akron (West Market Street). He is fantastic. I have Anthem dental coverage and he is covered. I hope this helps. I also know there is a pediatric dentist I believe in "the Valley" but do not know his name.
