Looking for Great Pediatric Dentist in Gilbert Area

I have a wonderful dentist that I took my son to when he was 18 months old. He had two cavities that needed to be filled and he was so great with my son. His name is Dr. Segal and his phone number is ###-###-####. He is located on Baseline Rd. between Gilbert Rd. and Lindsay Rd. or somewhere close to that.

Take him to Children's Dental Village, used to be The Longfellow Practice. Great people, all

My kids really liked Jared Welch at Az pediatrics off of L. and Pecos - very friendly and gets down on their level. Also, his office is pretty fun!

We have been going to Dr. Quackenbush for about 9 years. He is great! He is very calm and peaceful and sets the kids at ease. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Quackenbush and his office staff. The name of the office is Timber Falls Pediatric Dentistry and it is located on the NW corner of Val Vista and Ray. We really like Dr. Brett Quackenbush at Timber Falls Pediatric Dentistry. They are located at Ray and Val Vista. Their office is very kid friendly (it is a giant tree house), the staff is very nice, after the cleaning the dental assistant takes your child to get a prize while you can have some time with the dentist to talk about any problems/concerns and to top it off - my son LOVES the fact that his "Teeth Dr." has a funny name (he is 3yrs old). Hello, D. C. I am G.. Recently we were referred to Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry off of Power betwee Williams Field (Chandler Blvd) and Ray. My 4 yr old son was bitten by a neighbor's dog and it knocked his front tooth out (through his gums!! OUCH!!) Gilbert Emergency Hospital ER doc refferred us after stitching up his gums (and below his eye) remarking that his kids go there. We went the next day to check everything out on my boy and I found the office charming and inviting. My son was entranced by the train that circled above the waiting room, and the staff was friendly and patient. I would highly recommend them. Good luck in your search!

We love our Pediatric Dentist. He is thorough, nice, smart and he recently had a patient appreciation day and took everyone to a private showing of Walee.

I love telling people about the pediatric dentist that I found. My children (ages 3 & 10) love going there. The place is called East Valley Pediatric Dentisty and the dentist's name is Dr. James Johnson. They are located at Higley and the 202. Check out their website at www.kidstoothdr.com. I take my 3 year old to Jungle Roots, it is in the Chandler Area and they are really great with kids.

My kids go to Dr Ball ###-###-####) They have been going there since they were 4 and he is wonderful and his staff is great. Lets put it this way....I have been there a lot and never heard any kids crying. He has an office on Guadalupe and greenfield, right across from the library. Check them out...my kids are 15 and 13....and dont want to change dentists!!

We have been going to Pediatric Dental Specialist in Gilbert - Greenfield & Guadalupe across from the library. We absolutely love their office and staff. The kids get goody bags after each visit (filled with a small toy or bracelet, dental floss, toothbrush and sticker). They will always check your baby and toddlers before their even ready for a first visit. We didn't schedule our kids first real cleaning until age 3. But, they were always examined at the older kids' visit. We use Dr. Staker and he's very gentle and nice. There's a train table in the lobby and a tv with a dvd movie playing for the kids who are waiting.

I must agree with those that said East Valley Pediatric Dentistry!! I have been taking my girls there for 5 years now and they love going to the dentist. They are constatnly telling me they need to go the dentist, just to go. Dr. Johnson is great!

I have a wonderful dentist, he is not a pediatric. Dr Wold, HIgley Groves Dental. I took my children to a Pediatric dentist, MISTAKE! He was horrible, and I sued to work in a dental office, so I know what to expect. They love Dr. Wold. Plus, Dr WOld would be cheaper than a pediatric dentist.

I do know that Dr. Quackenbush is very good, he is not on my insurance though.

i would recommend, Pediatric Dental Care, 3011 s Lindsay Rd (lindsay & Pecos) the dentist is Jared Welch and his full team are wonderful. I took me 2 boys aged 2 and 3 not so long ago for first time and he was excellent. From the waiting room to the dentist chair everything is child friendly, and they totally put my boys at ease. I just took my two year old son to for his first visit to their chandler office and loved it. My son had a great experience there. Since he is under three they just checked for discoloration and counted teeth. They had him wear cool sunglasses so the bright light wouldn't bother him. They were very friendly. He got his picture taken from his visit to take home with us and got a little goodie bag of stickers and a toy.
My son does not like it when we got to the doctor and they look in his mouth but he was very calm for the dentist.

We've been taking my son to ABC Dentistry who my dentist had recommended. They're really good and very nice there. My son LOVES to go to the dentist even AFTER they told him he didn't get a candy treat afterwards for being good, LOL!

Dr. Michaud is a really good guy although we've only met him once. His staff is excellent with the kids and they've got a good mix of male and female hygienists.

I am also looking for one so I will be interested to see what feedback you get. Good question.

I have a son that was afraid of our regular family dentist . So we took him to Kids Grins located near Greenfield/Baseline. They have been great. My son loves it because they have video games in the waiting room and can watch a kid movie while they sit in the dental chair.

I've been taking my kids to Breeze Dental on Val Vista, north of the 202. Dr. Brian is wonderful with not only the kids, but with the parents. My son is 3 and my daughter is 6. Our whole family has been seeing him since he first opened. Let me know if you need more information.

You will not be disappointed! I used to work there and I am truely amazed at the way in which he works with the kids. I have seen him transform children that are screaming and scared to death into high fives, smiles, and prizes! He also works GREAT with people with disabilities. You would be amazed at how he gets them comfortable and what he is able to get them to do. He really has a gift when it comes to dentistry and kids!

My sister was a dental hygenist there until she went on maternity leave but she says not only is he a good people person but he does really great dentistry. She has worked for other dentist and she really is impressed with his work.

Not to mention the office is AWESOME and totally kid friendly. My neices talk about going to the denist two weeks before and two weeks after because they are so excited!

We were given a referrel from our dentist for one for our daughter, and they sent us to Valley Pediatric Dentists. We go to their site in Ahwatukee (but they have on in Gilbert). They were very nice, understanding, and patient with my daughter for her first visit just after she turned two.

They took their time, let my daughter play and look at stuff. They didn't push for x-rays but let her watch another child after getting permission from them and their parents. They encouraged my assistance (I actually sat on the chair (laid) and held my daughter while they did her teeth).

I saw the recommendation for Dr. James Johnson and I would highly advise against going there. Yes, it's a cute office, but I found him to be very arrogant. My daughter was very traumatized (she was 2) and we opted out of having her teeth cleaned, yet he still billed our insurance. We went there again, this time without insurance, and he billed us $177 (which was interesting considering that when we had insurance, the bill was $90 to the insurance company.) I'm going to look into some of the other dentist's recommended. Thanks for the post!!!!

Dr. Joe Creech moved to the East Valley from Missouri in 1980. He graduated from Westminster College and the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry. He completed his pediatric dental residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. In 1989, Dr. Creech became the first East Valley pediatric dentist to be board certified.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and has served as chairman of the Council on Clinical Affairs. He presently is on the Board of Directors for the College of Diplomates of the Academy. He is also a past president of the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
