Need a New PCP in Arlington

Okay so I have decided that I need to find a new PCP, the one I've been going to for about a year and a half just isn't working out. I would love to get any referrals from anyone in the Arlington area. My previous PCP was with Family Healthcare Associates, and I prefer to not go back even to a different doctor. Any suggestions are appreciated and if you can share why you like (or don't like) your doctor that would be great, too!

Thanks ladies in advance.

Our family goes to Dr. John Schmidt in downtown Mansfield. We love him! He is a wonderful doctor, and he has a fabulous sense of humor, too (that's an added bonus). His staff is extremely friendly, and whenever you call for any reason, you get a live person. That never happens to me anywhere else. If I need an appointment, I can get in the same day I call most of the time, too. It's a small town practice, and I love it! We go to Dr. Kobett and I would ditch almost the entire office staff if I could!

I started going to Dr. Theresa Stretch near Cooper & I-20. I like it the office is small and quiet and everyone is really nice.

You should get a list of providers that are on your insurance plan. Make a list of what you liked about your current doctor and practice and what you didn't. Then call some of the practices on that list and ask some questions re: their policies about what you didn't like (availability of same day appointments, wait times, communication policies, etc.) If you had a personality clash with the physician, what type of people are you looking for and actually what type of medical providers do you need. Then see what some of the responses are here. That may guide you to the right medical provider. Good luck!
