First time Mom here! And I don't know the first thing about pediatricians in my area-or how even to begin finding the right one. I would rather go to someone that is referred by one of the Mamasource ladies, so your information would be greatly appreciated.

Whatever you do do not go to Arlington Pediatrics. (That's where we started). Sanders is 100 times better. My daughter would have had to have had six additional shots if we would have stayed at Arlington.

We see Dr. Schraiber at Sanders. We love him. ###-###-####. They're at Rand and Kennicott.

M.,
Dr. Stephanie Baker at Associated Pediatrics on Arlington Heights road is wonderful. She is a mom herself and took care of my daughter before she moved her practice. We miss her!

Good Luck

Hi M.,

We use NORTH Arlington Pediatrics ###-###-#### Dr. David Dobkin. My 17 year old son just the other day said he was sorry he would have to move on soon, because he is getting older. Everyone in the practice is really nice and knowledgeable.

Keep in mind that arlington pediatrics is a different group. Dr. Brottman who is in this group started in North Arlington.

I love my pediatrician. She is located in Palatine near the library. Her name is Dr. Duong. I have 3 kids and I started my twins going there about 6 yrs ago. She doesn't have a huge practice so it is always very comfortable. Your child will always see her and be greeted by the same receptionist (Tiffany) who has been there for years. They have many convenient hours, including Sat hours. She is affiliated with NW Community Hospital. I can't rave about her enough. She is great with explaining everything, patient with new parents and very gentle with the kids! Even if I just want to pop in to have her check my daughters ear if I think she is starting an ear infection I almost always get seen that day if not first apt next day! It's called Palatine Pediatrics and the # ###-###-####. Hope this helps!

Hi there M.,

I know you were looking in the Arlington Heights area but I love my doctor but they are in St. Chareles. Across from Charlestown Mall. I love them. The name is DuPage Medical group. The number is ###-###-####. I also do know of a stay at home dad and his wife is a Pediatrician in Arlington Heights. I know her first name is Madalyne. I will find out. I know the last name if she goes by it or not is Ibarrientos. She is also super nice. I hope this may help. Keep us informed.

Hello,

We go to North Arlington Pediatrics on Arlington Hts Rd in Arlington Hts.
They have a good size practice, so there is always a doctor available,
even if your chosen one is on vacation, etc. Their nurses are also wonderful
and helpful in answering questions that you need to know answers to, but
don't want to bother a doctor or make an appointment for. They also have
an answering service. So, when your child is throwing up at midnight, a doctor
can be reached for consultation. They have 2 waiting rooms. One for healthy kids,
and another for sick kids. So, you don't have to expose your healthy kid
to germs when you are just there for a check-up. They also run pretty much on schedule
I have never had to wait more then 15 minutes (usually less) before seeing a doctor.

Did you know that before your baby is born, you can interview doctor's offices.
Most offices have a day set aside for a group of parents to come in, see the office,
make sure they except their insurance and meet at least one of the doctors and make
sure they are associated with the hospital you will be giving birth at.

That's how I decided on North Arlington Pediatrics. Call around and visit a few places.

Good Luck and Congratulations!

I'll add another vote for Arlington Pediatrics. We drive up from SW Palatine and love all three of the current docs, especially Dr. Seskiewicz (they've just added two more). We were referred by a work colleague and liked what we learned when we met with them. They'll let you "interview" them for free, unlike some others that we checked into initially. Good luck deciding.

I take my kids to Arlington Pediatrics on Arlington Heights Rd. My OBGyn takes his kids there so I thought that was a good referral. Located on AH Rd, just south of Dundee.

Phone: ###-###-####

I know they only take newborns for new patients.
Good luck!

We used to go to Dr. Kathy Seskiewicz at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, until she moved her practice to Arlington Heights! She was there when my first son was born until about 4--he is now 6. She was also there when my 2nd son was born for about 6 mos. I would HIGHLY recommend her. I noticed Kristin C. also recommended her. She is wonderful, and extremely patient with new moms (as I was.) Good luck! Here is a link on her:

Melanine - congrats on your impending arrival. I have 3 sons and we live in AH. We have been going to Sander Pediatrics since we moved here (10 years ago)and like all the doctors and the care they give and the hours etc. Aimee Bass is our primary one but actually they are all very nice.

Give them a try if they fall under your insurance - we have needed them and used them alot over the years and have no complaints.

Good Luck.

My daughter is almost 4 months old, so I haven't had too many appointments, but I do love Arlington Pediatrics. I especially like Dr. Santiago and Dr. Brottman. My daughter had her 1st cold and they talked me through a bunch of things to check.
