We use Pediatric Services of Springfield. They have an office in East Longmeadow (294 n. Main St). We've always been very happy with them. My daughter's "primary care" is Dr. Nordstrom, who is excellent but hard to always get. Luckily the other drs. and NPs in the practice are wonderful! Congratulations on your first baby!!

The PAHC on Park St in West Springfield is pretty popular.. but I found their wait times annoying and the fact they 'go to lunch' for an hour every day ridiculous. With a decent size staff, you'd think staggered lunches would be a better choice. Plus, once the phones go back on at 1pm, there is always a wait because of those who had to wait the hour. That drove me nuts! (My daughter fell once, banged her head during this period. My bro. is epileptic because of a similar fall 40 years ago.. and I just needed reassurance. I had to wait an hour+ when I knew in my heart she was fine.. but just felt a little anxious because of my bro..)

I switched to Dr. Kenya. She has a smaller staff, and oddly enough, manages to have someone answer the phone during business hours.
She is in Westfield, near the WalMart.

But, if you don't mind the silliness of not getting through in an emergency (that you know is not really a 911 emergency) there are a lot of very good docs at PAHC, West Springfield.

best wishes!

Pioneer Valley Pediatrics. They have offices in Longmeadow Ma and Enfield Ct. Office hours 7 days a week, associated with Baystate Hospital, on site lacatation consultant. They have helped us so much over the last 4 years with our little ones. I can't say enough about them.

Congratulations D.! I would HIGHLY recommend Pedicatic Associates of Hampden County. They have a W. Spfld. office on Park Street. The doctors are excellent. Both my children go there. We use Dr. Michael Freedman and Dr. Tracey Browning (though she may be out on maternity leave). PAHC also does rounds at Baystate which is awesome. My son (born in May) had a few issues and it was really great to have Dr. Freedman there. He was very attentive and thorough. Before my first child, I set up an informative appointment with them to learn more about the practice. They are great! If you have any questions, you can email me at ____@____.com.

We take my daughter to PAHC (Pediatric Associates of Hampden County) they have 2 offices W.Sprtingfield and Westfield. We see Dr.Browning, who is very thorough, we like her very much. The office is open 7 days per week, and open 4 nights a week until 8 or 8:30 for sick appts. I find their hours very convenient! Good luck, and congratultions!
