Ok ladies Irecently miscarried a week before easter. Currently according to my last period I should be 8 weeks. I went to the dr for the first visit yesterday he said everything felt fine and he ran some blood work. Because I have lupus and a welts have appeared on my face so a dermatologist took a biopsy. So I am waiting for the result plus now the result from the work yesterday. We haven't really told too many people my husband knows and a couple of dr.'s of mine and one of daughter friends mom ? me so I told her. But other than that no one knows. So I went to day and they did an ultrasound because he said we should be able to see or hear a heart beat. Well when I went there was a sac which the tech said that the sac looked normal but the baby was registering the size of a 6 in a half week fetus. This is what worries me. I miss carried at 8 weeks when I was pregnant last the fetus showed 6 weeks along. Plus I never miscarry usually twice in a row. Not saying there isn't a first time for everything. But I am very numb and flipping out. I don't know if i can do another misscarriage. Has this ever happen to any of you? What was your out comes? Thank You!

What can I do next?

This is probably something you know all about, but do you have a progesterone shortage? My daughter was in bed and bleeding with her last child, used the cream and we all prayed, and she has a sweet daughter who's now 3! Another friend miscarried 4 x before she realized this was her problem so she used the cream with the next 3 children and made it just fine. Worth looking into if you haven't already.

It is possible due to late ovulation or late implantation to be up to 2 weeks behind what you think you are. I suffered 2 m/c's and found a web site that helped me though them and my current pregnancy. www.misdiagnosedmiscarriage.com They have all kinds of people their waiting to find out if they are m/c'ing or that have or are pregnant after a m/c for support. Check it out someone there might even have a very similar story. Good luck.

Hi K.,
Give it some time. I know that the hardest thing to do is wait, but it is often hard for them to tell anything so early. I am 7 1/2 months along now and the first appointment they couldn't see much, and I worried for the next week or two until the next appointment. Turned out everything was fine. So try your best to distract yourself and not worry and give it a few weeks until there is more for the dr. to look at. Also, the size might be fine...it just depends on when you really ovulated and concieved.
Good Luck! :)

I am a Wellness Educator. With that said, are you on any prescriptions for Lupus? As we know, Lupus is an auto immune disorder. So here is what I recommend (you may be doing these things already): Drink pure water (RO or steam distilled is best), lean meats, fish, fresh fruits and vegetables (organic if possible if not use an organic cleaner for fruits/vegetables) so basically a healthy diet, whole food supplements.

What is best for a person with Lupus is: multi vitamin, fish oils (guaranteed free of mercury), calcium (with magnesium and Vitamin D), B Complex, probiotic (good bacteria and ensure it is live delivery to the intestine).

This will help the Lupus and have a healthy pregnancy. I can recommend additional supplements, but this would be a good start.

If I can be of help, call me at ###-###-####.

Many blessings,

M.

You could have ovulated later than expected. I understand what you are going through I had a miscarriage in April and now I am about 6 weeks and worried about another miscarriage. Since it is only 1 and a half weeks off I wouldn't worry too much about it. I know it is hard because I am worried about it too. They will be able to detect the heart beat next time and you will know for sure.
