I had to lose 40 lbs at one point after my baby.
Im active Duty Army so we exercise every day but i went to the Gym after work as well (2 work outs a day) and I also used the South Beach Diet. If i were you get a South Beach Diet book, or google it, and do some good cardio about 1-2hrs a day (doesnt have ot be all at once)
I lost 20 lbs in 2 weeks, then i eventually made weight.
all together i went from 200, to 128 LBS! only in 9 months!
Good luck!

If you want a sure program I'd say Weight Watchers. BUT, after the birth of my last child I took matters into my own hands. Instead of paying for a program I joined the gym ($35/mo) and hired a personal trainer ($25/hr once a week). I lost 62lbs in less than a year and I didn't take one weight loss pill at all. I worked out 5dys per week alternating b/t aerobics and weight training. I increased my water intake to about a gallon a day, took a multivitamin, incorporated one protein shake a day into my daily diet. I also ate a lot of salads for lunch, snacked on fruit all day long, and started drinking milk. Not only have I lost the weight but I have kept it off!~ Before you begin ANY workout/weightloss regiment make sure you see your doctor AND see a nutritionist(they really make a difference). Good luck to you!~

The first place to start is having the right mindset. Instead of thinking about dieting, think of lifestyle change. You want to loose the weight one time and not have do it again.

If you really want to lose the weight, you can try drinking a lot of water and walking. That does seem to help. Also, I am an Arbonne Consultant and we have weight loss program that really works very well. Feel free to check it out at www.Arbonne.com good luck!

I know everyone is different and you might have different ideas of a plan that you know will work for you. I personally needed a boost to reach my goals this last time around. I documented my weight loss at http://www.reducemyweightnow.com to share my story and what has worked for me on my recent weight loss. It is my goal to help other people reach their goals also.

Hi,
I have successfully lost weight in the past by exercising and drinking water. I would drink about 80 oz of water a day and walk on the treadmill 20-40 minutes 3-4 times a week. I then quit doing both and gained some weight back. My doctor gave me some Aciphex (generic is phentermine), and it worked really well. I ate what I wanted, no exercise or water and lost 13 pounds the first month. I then stopped and ate candy dough, a pack just about every day for two months and gained all my weight back. I went back to him last week and started on it again today. I am going to take it, drink water and exercise. I will let you know how it goes. Good luck to you!!!

I drink a Monster Lo-Carb energy drink every night for dinner instead of actually eating dinner. I have been doing this since July, 2006 and it has helped out alot! I only eat once a day, usually lunch and sometimes breakfast. It takes awhile to get used to not eating dinner but now if I do eat it upsets my stomach. I still cook dinner for my family to eat (this was the REALLY REALLY hard part @ first). Now I need to start exercising to get the rest off! I have lost @ 20 lbs in doing this. Different things work for different people.

Good luck!

I successfully lost all of my baby weight and then some on weightwatchers. I did it on-line and didn't go to the meetings. It was easy and exciting to watch the weight melt off. I have kept it off for a year now.

Good Luck!!

A friend and I have been doing Weight Watchers for the past six months. She has lost almost 40 lbs. and I lost only about 25 lbs. The holidays were the worst time, but I am back on track and losing pretty steady each week. We go to the weekly meetings on Saturday in Buford, by the Wal-Mart and this has proven to be the best weight loss for both of us. We both have two children and are almost 30 years old. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me --- ____@____.com!!! L.

Well, what worked for me is this.

No sugar and less than 10 g of carbs a day, 8 glasses of water and three times a week of 30 min brisk walk. I lost 51 pounds in 6 mos.

Many people say that this diet is not healthy however, I felt better on it than anytime in my whole life.

Good luck!!

My son will be 7 months old next week and I decided 5 weeks ago that it was finally time to get my baby weight off. I needed to lose 24 lbs to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight so I joined Weight Watchers. Going to meetings once a week and getting weighed in as really helped me. So far, I've lost 8.4 lbs and hoping by today's weigh-in it will be 10 lbs!

I'm also still nursing so I get more points and haven't felt like it's been that hard to get the lbs off since joining.

Best of luck, I know the frustration.

I will tell you, there is no 'easy' way to do it. I am a mother of two, just had my boy a week ago, most of the weight is gone, but there is some toning to do...I did some personal training for single/married mothers, and this is the bottom line, weight pills, do help, if they are accompannied by a good excersize program and healthier eating, now you do not have to eat 3 grapes, with half teaspoon of this blah blah, that is just not right. eat what you want, however keep this one GOLDEN rule in mind....SIMPLE:
Burn more calories in a day that you take in.

you know ABOUT how many are in things , you don't have to be a vreazy counter, but just know that if you burn more than you consume...it is impossible not to lose weight.

Good high calorie/ low impact workouts:
Eliptical machines, great on joints and knees...and burning calories.
Classes...spinning/ Funk areobics...( all at Omni Fitness a great gym)
Swimming is not the best form, contrary to popular belief you actually have to work out for a lot longer to get the same calories burnage :)...I have so much more, if you want to get a hold of me , I can help you on a more one to one, if you want. I am an email away :)..as I will be working on loosing it as well...being as I just had the baby a week ago.
Good luck.
