My daughter is having a princess party for her 5th birthday this coming Saturday. I have ordered a beautiful costume, shoes, and tiara from a very legitimate looking website called myfancyprincess.com. I have yet to receive my order and it was placed nearly a month ago. Come to find out, it is an internet only business and I can not get in touch with anyone from the company. Noone is responding to my emails and I am concerned that I have been ripped off. Has anyone ever used or heard of them before? The party is Saturday and I will need to find an alternative outfit for my daughter to wear to her own party. Any suggestion on how to contact the company or wear to look for another princess outfit? (not one of the standard princesses but something a little more "special"). Thanks to all!
Thank you so much to all of you that emailed the company on my behalf. I finally received a response from the company saying that my order had been shipped. NO telling whether or not it will arrive in time for tomorrow's party and I've already received another outfit from another company so I'll probably just have to return it but, at least they responded! Good teamwork girls!

I actually ordered another outfit from littledressupshop and they promised it would be here by tomorrow. I spoke to alive person so I am more hopeful. Wish me luck for the party!

I haven't heard of this website and I totally understand the panic you feel about not having a costume for your daughter AND possibly getting ripped off. As an emergency alternative, try looking at www.leapsandbounds.com (Leaps and Bounds) -- they have some nice princess costumes that your daughter might like. I've ordered from this company many times (they also run One Step Ahead for babies and toddlers). Good luck!!!!

I'm sorry I wish I heard of this company but I have not. I understand how you feel in regards to the "standard", my daughter's family is from Brasil and she got a gorgeous Princess costume from Brasil, but that won't help you now...My suggestion to you is even though you said you didn't want a "standard" outfit, if your desperate you can always go to a nearby Disney Store they have a constant stock of princess outfits, they are the normal disney princesses but they are beautiful costumes and you have to think about the fact that you daughter can't have a princess party and not be a princess at all better to have a nice outfit even if it is considered "standard" then to have nothing at all.
don't know about the website, but for something a little more "special"..try going to a local bridal/prom dress shop..they might have some discount flower girl dresses. That's the best I could think of. Good luck!!
I checked out the website and they are definitly legitimate. Did you see the Extreme Makeover Logo? Anyways, it's sucks that you are in this situation. I would continue to try and contact this company until you get a hold of someone and demand your money back. You can also dispute the charge with your credit card company or bank and tell them why. You should recieve the goods that you paid for.

Sorry J., I've never heard of that company & feel so bad for you. The disney store should have their costumes in now & they have the usual ones and the extraordinary ones too that cost about twice as much if I remember correctly. Also, Libby Lu may have some cute things.
Also, did you pay w/your Visa card? I think they have that guarantee for fraud protection. Call the card company or your bank to recoup your funds.

sorry to hear you may have been ripped off. I don`t know the site you are talking about but had the same problem with a toy site I ordered from. they took my payment, never answered any e-mails, no phone # etc for me to call them. that was about 9 months ago. Never got an answer or the toy I had ordered. So I just wanted to let you know I know how it feels. Hopefully you will receive your items late. I would probly say go to the Disney store, they have great princess costumes and great quality with all the assessories out for Halloween now. It`s actually perfect timing to get a great costume for her there. I just saw beautiful ones there tonight. good luck :)
I have never heard of them. However there is a custome place down the street from penns landing in phila. That has all different kinds of customes and play outfits. The place is huge. It is on the right side of the road right past the docks in the shopping center before ikea. I just don't remember the name of the place.
