I would like to find a crib and changing table/dresser that are both eco-friendly and made in America. Does anyone have any suggestions?
My first thought when you said Eco Friendly I thought Ikea but there stuff isn't made in america. I bought used for my second son off of craigslist, if you go this route just make sure the crib is no more than 10 years old and I would stear clear of dropside cribs and used mattresses.
My frist thought is that the most eco-friendly thing you could do would be to buy USED so an old crib doesn't make it into the dumpster. My son slept in the same crib that my brothers and I slept in as infants. Cheaper that way too!
Not sure what you mean by an eco-friendly crib. If you buy a wooden crib and you're upset that it was made from trees, then just plant a few trees in your backyard.

Go to Walmart.com and search for eco crib. They have one that is made from sustainably harvested wood. Not sure if it's made in the U.S. or not, but you can check.
