Hello Moms-

Does anyone know where the best place to go to get Girls Infant Winter Clothes? I don't mind used clothes at all. We live on a tight budget right now and it is hard to find cheap clothes. I have a posting out on Craigslist to buy some clothes but I have been sorry in the past when I have done that before. I paid $50 and didn't recieve the sizes that were promised. We have three girls and our baby (Cheyanne-9months) is petite and just now getting out of her 3-6 months clothes. Problem is she had lots of those sizes and hardly anything for 9-12 months. I have made some money selling her clothes to resale shops and I am trying to sell the rest on Craigslist to tehn pay for the next round of clothes. If anyone had a suggestion or is getting rid of clothes I would greatly appreciate anything! Thank you for reading and I love this website it has helped us so much with all of our girls.

What can I do next?

Try kid to kid in arlington and once upon a child for used clothing. Some stores are having great sales-target, childrens place, walmart. You can also try Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Ross. I have gotten lucky at Childrens Place and bought things for .99-2.00. You just have to be willing to try often. Good Luck!

I have a two year old daughter and I have tons of clothes I kept everything she ever wore hoping to use it for our next child, but we had a boy. I have given some clothes away so I am not sure what I have in 9-12 months she was born sept. so I might just have summer clothes, but I will check and get back with you.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with buying used clothes for a baby!!! My daughter outgrows stuff so fast it's rediculous to pay tons of money for them.

Target is having a huge sale right now. Also, as far as new clothes go, I get a lot of stuff at Ross for really cheap. There are a few thrift stores that I go to - you really have to dedicate some time to going through the racks and seeing what you can find, but it's worth it. I go to Thrift Town out in Arlington and I've been pretty happy with what I've been able to find there. And Once Upon a Child is great as well.

L.,

Let me check my "stash" from my daughter. We have been passing clothes around her little cousins but most of it is still in great condition. I will check to see what I have. I'll email you when I dig through it all.

Also, I used to by clothes on Ebay by the "lot". I would get a few cruddy pieces but most of it would be great. Some even still had the tags on it. You may try there.
