You don't go on the internet and wait for answers if you suspect a head injury. Was he sleepy anyway (no big deal), or was this the sudden onset of sleepiness after the fall (very concerning!)?

Your pediatrician has a 24/7 line for questions like this. Use it. Never put a child to bed if you suspect a head injury. As your doctor to teach you what to do if a concussion is suspected - that's a good parenting skill to have from now until your child is out of the house at 18!

Call the nurse line of the pedis office and ask them what they think.

"I" would not be concerned. but i was also not there to see how hard he hit the door frame. i didn't see how much his nose bled.. and i can't tell if its something to worry about...
