My son woke up at his normal time this morning, he was acting normal, then all of a sudden he kept stumbling and falling every few mins. Later on his eyes were dialated and he was very whiny and just not acting himself. I was watching him the whole time and he didn't consume anything. The only thing he had in his mouth for a min was carmex lip balm, please help!!

What can I do next?

In my day, if people were concerned that a child might have eaten something like poison - they'd call the poison control center.
If they were worried about a kid eating an object - they'd call their doctor or go to the emergency room.
Granted the internet has a lot of info on just about everything, but it's not the first thing I'd make contact with if I thought my child needed some immediate help.

I would go to the ER if my child couldn't walk without stumbling and had dialated eyes.

Call your Dr.
We have no idea and cannot possibly diagnose him.

Go to the ER now if you haven't already been. Time is of the essence.

You don't waste time on the internet for things like this. You call the pediatrician's 24/7 emergency line and talk to the doctor who knows your child the best, or an on-call doctor/nurse who has access to your records.

Otherwise, you go to urgent care. If you can't fine an urgent care center near you, you can go to the ER. But you don't fool around with a group of mothers all over the country who can't possibly help you in an emergency.

Why would you think that what he had in his mouth was the only factor in diagnosing a problem?

Please solve this emergency first, then sign up for a toddler first aid and emergency course. You could use some help in prioritizing and listing symptoms/identifying significant factors.

Your doc will cover his butt (HIPPA) and not give you a tiny bit of help if you call him. Please take your son to an urgent care doc or the local ER. What he is doing is not normal.

Please let us know what happened.
