Baby Girl's Hair

My daughter was the same. I advise you to just not mess with it and let it grow out. As her head and hair continue to grow, I bet it will take care of itself. My 3.5 y.o. has beautiful hair now. It's hard to believe that just a year an a half ago she was in the same boat.

p.s. - I actually read once that cutting a child's hair at too young an age can, basically, really leave you in a situation that I think is exactly what you are hoping to avoid. Maybe the person who gave you that advice knows some thing that I don't know, but I really don't think you should cut it now.

My daughter had a full head of hair at birth and starting at like 4 months old we needed to keep her hair out of her face and eyes for eating/ nursing etc... we got some little ouchless rubber bands and pulled back the top into a cute little pony tail on top of her head (pebbles flintstone style) or pulled the bangs to the side in a barette. It did look a little funny at times but she could see and eat so that was the main goal. When her hiar got longer we did two little pig tials on the top of her head. I did not cut bangs becuase I thought they would be too difficult to keep on top of with the constant cutting so at three she still does not have bangs but I like it because it opens up her whole face.

I know exactly what you mean,, that drives me nuts.. part your daughters hair where you like and then get some cute little barrettes and hold her hair back (you need to train her hair to fall the other way.. then take her to a hairdresser and tell them exactly where you want them to cut.. be very specific.. just be prepared to have to clip her hair back for a while.. my daughter's hair waslong enough that I could put little ponytails in to hold it too..
