Quiet Medela Breastpump?

I have an older Medela Pump in Style that I used for my first. It works... but it is sooo loud and so slow. I recently saw another women pumping and was amazed at how quiet it was, I couldn't even hear it. I asked her if it was a Medela and she said yes, but I'm not sure which model. Do any of you have a very quiet Medela pump that you'd recommend?

Going to School and Breastfeeding

I would like to know some tips for pumping at a school or work, they don't really have a place at the school I am going to and I hate pumping the bathroom, another issue is that I feel embarassed that someone will see me and be mean about it (I know how to stand up for myself but I don't want to be put in that situation). Lately I've been pumping in a study room in the library but I feel that it (the pump) makes too much noise, I am barley keeping up with the amount I have to send to daycare with my daughter. Just wondering if anyone has...

Sending Drinks to School

Hi Moms, What containers do you use to send lunch drinks to school for your kids? I have 2 in preschool and hate to send sippy cups (they seem babyish) or bottles of water (it seems wasteful to throw them away). I'm looking at Foogo straw cups, but they are pricey. What do you use? Thanks! C.

Breastfeeding and Work

I will be doing student teaching next semester and I'm wondering how this will work. I won't be able to pump at the school for obvious reasons unless I hide in a bathroom stall (yuck). My pediatrician said to start weaning for when she's at daycare for the day and have her nurse while she's at home. I've skipped the occasionally feeding and my milk dwindles fast. Any other work experiences for breastfeeding mothers? I just wonder if this will work. I've tried saving milk by pumping but I just don't seem to get much milk from it..... ...

Medela Pump in Style?

Hi! I am preparing to sell most of my baby gear since my youngest is about to turn one and my husband and I are convinced he will be our last baby. Anyhow, I am wondering if anyone has sold their breast pump and where they did so. My Medela Pump In Style cost me over $300 and is in excellent condition. I'm selling a few things at Divine Consign, but don't know if I should just set something like that out for a ton of people to touch, etc. Also, I don't know what to ask for it. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Medela Pump Tubing

I have the In Style breast pump from Medela. I'm having a hard time cleaning the tubing. They get full of condensation and then start to mold. I run the pump after I'm done to try to dry up the moisture, but that doesn't seem to help. I've boiled them and it's still there. I'm on my second set of tubing in 4 months of pumping. Does anyone else have this issue and how have you cleaned them? Thanks.
