Diapers for Sensitive Skin

My 17 month old son has developed a dry-skin rash on his bottom. The ped recommended hydrocortisone, which is clearing it up fine, but he also said that the rash may be caused by the chemicals in his diapers. We're using Pampers Cruisers...does anyone have a recommendation for something gentler? Thanks!

Cloth Diapers & Powder?

Hello Moms~ My first daughter is 6 weeks old and has diaper rash. We own a bunch of cloth diapers and have already tried them out and like them. However she has had a diaper rash and we can't use the cream (desitin) with them; we have been using disposables for weeks now. Today we got a Rx from her pediatrician, and hope to see the rash gone within a week. She is out of diapers except for at night and then they come off dry. We have compared notes for months and I cannot come up with anything that works from her house to my house. I took her to the dermatologist last week and came home with a tube of antifungal that looked about like a toothpaste tube for a co-pay of 63.00. It is making her skin bright red and...

Help - My 13 Month Old Has a Bad Diaper Rash!

My 13 month old daughter developed a sudden diaper rash with two very raw areas that look like popped blisters (approx 2 cm in diameter)right where her bottom cheeks meet. Otherwise the bottom is red rashy looking. She has only had a little rash once before in her life, which healed completely within a few days. This is the fourth day of this and I'm starting to wonder if it is more complicated than just diaper rash. Any thoughts or advise on how to care for this. She doesn't act like it is hurting her much, but it really looks...
