I'm looking for waterproof mittens for my 3 y/o. I know I can find them online, but I was hoping to be able to pick them up at a store so he can use them faster. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I just found thinsulate waterproof mittens (and gloves) in the back of the girls section of Walmart for $9.00. We haven't tried them yet but they appear well made.
