Recommendations for Xbox360 with Kinect Games

my kids are 9 and 6 and we like Dance Central, Sports and Joy Ride.....a lot of times you can find demos or reviews on XBox Live. I also like to go to Game Stop, if you buy a used game you can try it for a week and if you don't like it you can return it, also the people up there are pretty knowledgabe about the different games and if they happen to not be familiar with a game they won't b.s. you they tell you they don't know but with us having all 3 main systems (my BF and I are bigger vidiots than my kids are allowed to be) that has only happened a time or two for us...happy playing

Kinect Animals is fun for the whole family and the little ones will be able to control the animal and do some of the tricks.

My kids love the game that came with it. My daughter loves the animals one as well. Not sure what reading is involved she just did what the flying what not told her to and was just fine.

They are coming out with a mat for it. Totally recomend that because the biggest problem my kids have is getting out of the range of the sensor. It comes out June 1st.

We just got it for my kids birthday a couple weeks ago so I don't have many games yet to advise you on.

We have Kinectimals and it's not all that great. You have to do a lot of reading to complete the tasks and the the sensor doesn't seem to want to work for my daughter (she's 4).

We LOVE Kinect Sports. It's a great game for the WHOLE family. My 4 year old and all my nieces and nephews love it. My husband and I play it too. We also love Dance Central. My daughter can even do some of the dances. It's a great game to have for an adult Kinect Party too. My redneck (love him, but he's a total redneck..complete with HUGE belt buckle and t-shirts with the sleeves cut off :D ) brother always wants to come over and play Dance Central.

Kinect Adventures is the game that is comes with and the kids really like that one too.

We also have Adrenaline Misfits (snowboarding game) and it's pretty good. I think the 6 year old would REALLY like it.

I would suggest looking on Amazon at the ratings of the games before you buy anything. Read the comments too. There are several of the Kinect games that are real stinkers and others that are fabulous.
