What Jennifer M said is so true about weight being an estimate, even with the new ultra sound, etc. I would remember that God is in control of the situation and then relax and leave it there. I know so many people who were told their child had certain things and they were fine. On the other hand if there is a problem it's still in God's hands and you can do nothing about it so try not to worry and take it easy. Rest, eat right, etc.

I'm sorry :( I was with a high risk doc (for different reasons) my whole pregnancy, and was in and out of the hospital. I know how scary and exhausting that is.

My son always measured 4 weeks ahead. They though he was going to be massive. He was born right on time, weighing 7 pounds. The measurements really can be way off. They thought his heart my be irregular and I was seriously monitored for that. By 27 weeks, it had completely corrected itself, and his heart was perfect. My advice, is to do whatever you can to relax. I know first hand how impossible that can be, but I was so much better off when I was able to relax. Praying for you and your little one.

I'm not expert but I do know at least one baby that was born at 26 weeks and had no long term problems from being premature. So if you can hang in there even a few more weeks it may work out okay. Every day is a step closer at this point. Also, my kids were full term but in the NICU at first. The NICU is scary at first but you do get used to it (there might even be a support group). Most of the babies there are premature so the staff knows very well what to do for them.

I know you must be worried sick. The first thing, and best for your baby and you, is to relax. Think positive, and loving thoughts for your baby. Our mind is the most positive organ we have. Our emotions can do so much for our health. It can have an amazing out come on the health and happiness of your precious baby.
Sadly, I don't have too much experience with your exact experience. My first child was born at 27 weeks, 0 days. That was 10 years ago, and she has no known health problems stemming from her premature birth. More closely to your situation, my second child was taken by c-section at 35 weeks. They did a amnio to see what her weight was. One doctor said she weighed 8lbs. one said 6lbs. She was 5lbs. 5ozs. at birth a few days later.
The doctors measurements are an estimate. I had very good doctors at a very good hospital. You may have a petite baby. So much can change in a week or more at this stage.
The best thing you can do at this stage is rest and be positive. Do you have a good support system? Do you have a prayer group going for your baby? Maybe start a blog about your feelings, even if no one will read it. It can be very helpful in releasing stress.
I wish you the best. I know with my heart that in a matter of weeks you will be holding a beautiful bundle of joy. It will be the greatest gift you ever received.

Wow. I'm sorry to hear about troubles. I don't have any real life experience with this issue, but I have a few suggestions that may help.

Taking it easy or mostly bed rest seems like it would help -- saving all your energy for growing that little sweetie. Also, staying hydrated.

I would also try and stay super positive, although it's pretty hard at some times. Our bodies and subconscious listen to our negative thoughts. Maybe a positive mantra would help? Something such as, "my baby is growing well and is thriving."

And finally, but not lastly, I would pray for God to help you, your hubby and your new baby to get through this."

I'll put you on my prayer list too! Good luck and believe everything will turn out OK. :)
