Help Mamas! My husband left a pen in his pocket and it got washed! I didn't find it until AFTER the clothes had been dried! Yikes! And of course, most of my daughters nice Gymboree clothes were in there! Does anyone know of a way to get some of these ink stains out???
Thanks!
C.

I had this same thing happen to me and my daughter's cute clothes all appeared to be ruined. The ink stains were on countless outfits and really bad. Here's what I did: I sprayed aerosol hairspray on every ink stain and let them all sit and dry. Then, I sprayed them all with SHOUT stain remover and washed them with a SHOUT stain catcher placed in the actual washer to catch all the blue ink being washed out. I couldn't believe my eyes. Every outfit was perfectly clean. I mean they were all perfect. I was amazed, but so happy to have saved so many outfits. Hope this helps. Many Blessings - L.

I've had good luck with the household cleaner Simple Green for clothing stains.

YES! It is called Krud Kutter http://www.krudkutter.com You can get it at Home Depot and is around $5 for a pretty good sized bottle. It is near the paint removers and such in the paint department. It is SPECTACULAR stuff. I have gotten everything from year old ink stains to washed/dried blood out of garments!

Hair Spray the aresol type...works great and cheap! I had an ink explode in the dryer once and it got rid of the ink in the dryer. As for clothing it got the ink mark out of my brand new light cream sofa with no problem.

Hope this helps.
