My hubby told me that he has written several prescriptions for it over the past few months, and he hasn't heard any complaints about it yet. He won't give me a scrip for one right now since I'm pregnant, but I am DEFINITELY going to give it a try after the baby is born.

yes, i got it online. It slowed the growth, but you have to find a way to remove the hair still. I can't handle the nair type products so I quit using it.

I am afraid of the lazers because my cousin, with dark hair, got burned by them and she didn't get her money back. Plus, it didn't work since she went twice. Also, I have scars that several doctors asked me about and told me it look like i had bad lazer hair removal. The pigment is destroyed and the spots are very light. That is not what happened, but I don't need more scars.

it is something i really want to try. i get embarrassing hairs under my chin and as much as i hate to admit it, i'm starting to get a mustache too. i'm trying to lose weight to see if that will help, but i think there's nothing that's going to. i have resorted to just plucking the hairs when i see/feel them. anyone else have any suggestions for them?

I have not tried it due the cost, I simply can't afford the $50-60 per month that it would cost. I was told by my doctor though that it works. I have heard it helps to couple it with a maintenance medication like Spironolactate (I think that's it) and a birth control pill. And it is true that it does not make the hair go away but rather retards the growth so it does not grow back as fast. Once you stop using it the hair comes back. Good luck with this, I know it can be a pain. I have dealt with this since I was 12 and it suddenly got way worse after I had my son and after gaining lots of weight. I am pretty sure I have PCOS but can't afford to see a specialist and pay the co-pays for the meds to take care of it. You should talk to your doctor about figuring out WHY you have this problem as it could be a hormonal imbalance.
