Trying to research all my options on where to have a bday party for a 3 year old. I've priced Pump it up, wiggles play house, and little gym. Can't be anything outdoor (winter birthday) What are my other options?

Know of any good indoor pools we could do it at?

I had a party for my two sets of twins at Clubhouse for Kids in July. The Clubhouse has a web site you can check out. It's located at Independence and Parker in Plano. It is a large play place with rock climbing (supervised), a tree house, tons of toys, a theatre with dress up stuff, a play doctor's office, a play grocery store. I allowed my children's friends to bring siblings. I have been taking my children there from time to time for 2 years. The staff is good about cleaning the toys and equipment. Another place to consider, though it's a bit (a lot) more hectic, is Planet Pizza at Custer and Parker.

Adventure Kids Playcare does birthdays on Sunday. You get the whole place just for your party. They are a drop in childcare center during the week and on Saturdays so they have lots of toys and games for the kids to play.

I'm not sure where you are located, but Denton has some places you can go through the city. (You don't have to live there). We just booked a party at their Denia Park Rec center. They do indoor parties there with various themes and are very affordable. (Someone else here ahd recommended it). We are doing a "playhouse party" which includes a bouncy house, little playhouses with tunnels, scooters with cones (lke a litrtle obstacle course) and balls etc to play with. The cost is $75 and includes a party coodinator who sets up, cleans up and helps with the kids, paltes, napkins, etc. and decorations for up to 15 kids (you can pay more per extra kid). You can also bring all the adults you want. Just show up with the cake! You get an hour in the play area and 1/2 hour in the party room for cake and whatever. The number is ###-###-####

ALso, Denton has a natatorium pool with a slide and party room which can be rented out for parties. I do not know the number, but you can go to the city website or probably the above number could help.

Good luck!

For a good indoor pool, check out Emler Swim School in Plano. My daughter takes swim lessons there and I know they do birthday parties. You could also check out the Natatorium in Allen - they do parties and they have several slides and other fun stuff :)

Another place that I have been to recently was Planet Pizza in Plano, and that was a good party.

Good luck!

Not sure where you live, but my husband runs the Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium in Allen. They have slides, a lazy river, etc... & it's all inside. They have b-day parties there all of the time. Hope that helps! Good luck! :)

oh gosh! we go through this everytime her b-day rolls around.
We havent done a big venue like those you mentioned YET!!!
We've only done back yard parties for our 4 yr old... Bounce house, games, pizza, cake. It's worked for us so far.
This year i think we are just going to do a family thing. Just the 3 of us at that Medievil Times in dallas for dinner, and a "big girl" bike.

We have been to parties at Planet pizza, a few Plano Parks, all the ones you mentioned. Preschool parties at her school.
Pick up that "dallas child" magazine while your out and about.
That magazine has tons of ideas for places to hold parties.
GOOD LUCK.

We had our 4 year olds' party at the Flight Museum at Love Field. They have a bounce house and indoor play area(included in the price) and the kids can walk around part of the museum. They also do all of the clean up. It was nice and really affordable.

That's a great idea E.! I actually just booked my sons 3rd birthday party at Pump It Up for December. We attended a party there recently and once he got comfortable with the idea, he didn't want to leave! We were going to do Strikz, but I couldn't get them to return my calls or emails! I wanted to book early because his birthday falls between Thanksgiving and Christmas. There's another indoor bounce place in Prosper that I heard was good. We're attending a party there in a few weeks. I'm curious to see how it compares with Pump It Up.

We have been invited to parties at McDonald's before. We also have hosted parties at Gymboree and love that. When my daugther turned three, we just had a party at home with her two favorite friends. We played a few games, made a little craft, had a tea party in princess dresses and had cake. Maybe you could do something similar that fit his interests?

You could try an Emler Swim School. I think they do parties and have several locations. I've gone to the Preston Forest location in Dallas, and it's very nice.
