How old was your LO when you stopped using Baby Shampoo?

My 4 year old still uses it! Didnt know if this was normal.

What can I do next?

My dad is nearly 60 and still uses it... gentle on his scalp and recommended by his dermatologist! My 4 yr old still uses it for the same reasons.

We still use the Burt's Bees no tears shampoo on Kiddo (5). I will switch when he is ready for tears, ha ha...

And we love the Weleda soap for bathtime. Smells good and gentle on his skin.

When I know they can hold their head back and not have the soap drip into their face which is around 4-5 with my kids. They can hold their heads back, but don't, so I just use the baby shampoo. Plus, I can't do perfumes and there are more choices of sensitive (fragrance free) baby shampoos out there.

My 11 year old nephew and granddaughter still use tear free shampoos because they like the ones with fruity scents, as long as it works that's fine!

My daughters use the tear-free shampoos but not baby shampoos. I think I switched my oldest daughter (now 8) from the baby shampoo when she was 5 or so, and our younger daughter (now 5) has been using the tear-free kid shampoos since she was 2 or 3 because her hair is SO incredibly thick & full & long, that she needed something a bit more effective than baby shampoo.

I use baby shampoo for 18mo's hair, but his skin gets lavender castile soap. I think I started using natural soaps at about 8-9 months.

My first stopped around 2.5 and my second stopped about 1.5. I still do use the Burt's Bees periodically, but I don't really consider that baby shampoo. My little guy has sensitive skin so sometimes I have to really use the good stuff! Other than that, they like the Sauve kids stuff. I like it too. It leaves their hair nice and soft and comes in a free and clear variety!
