I think it is a very pretty name - someone I work just had a baby and named her Peyton Anne. Isabella is classic and you could always use Bella for short. I try to think of the nicknames when I picked the names out for my children, because sometime along the way someone is going to shorten to something. I also like unique and timeless classic beauty names - I have 2 boys, Kyran Anthony (wanted Anthony for a first name, but didn't want it to be shortened to Tony) is 9 (sounds like Ky-rin), Isiah Robert (Robert after my husbands grandfather and roll model) is almost 4 (after Isiah Thomas - my husband is a Pistons fan) and my daughter Arianna Raechel (we pronounce Ari-anna not like Ariel), I found her name in the menu name of a salad at a coney island on my due date - she was 3 days late and we only had boy names, didn't know what we were having. I also like to look up the meanings of the names too.

Anyways - I think that Isabella Peyton is beautiful.

both names are pretty popular right now.

My Daughter is 12wks (not an isabella though it was on my name list!) and Since she was born I have met 10 Isabella's born around the same time and 4 Peytons.
It's going to be like Aidan a couple of years ago and Hunter before that. And of course lets not forgets the Ashely's Ambers, Amandas, and Jennifers of the world :-) All Lovely names of course just REALLY REALLY popular.

Congratulations aunt C.! Isabella and Peyton was on our list too :) I love them both Isabella became to popular (as you can see from all the responses) for us so it was Peyton or Haidyn we love the unisex names but ultimatly we went with Haidyn. Maybe since Isabella is becoming to popular, unless your sister wants that, you can do a variation of it like Bella or Ella or something Ella was on our list too! Good luck to your sister.

C., that's so funny. My husband and I are expecting a daughter in a month and two of our choice names are Isabella and Peyton. Peyton is such an interesting name and not too common; people either love it or hate it (I go back and forth, but I am considering it as a first name). Isabella is a beautiful name...I absolutely love it! Now, those two together, not so sure. I guess it depends on how the last name flows! Good luck to your sister...picking out a name is such a importaant undertaking...huge decision!

Of course I just had to respond!!! When having our fourth daughter 5 months ago, my hubby wanted the name Alyssa Peyton. I wanted Peyton Alyssa. I won! (I guess after being in the delivery room, he gave in!) Our daughters are Peyton and Paige(11), and Ashley (7)and Amanda(6)! (Our only son is Carter, 4) Since having little Peyton, I've heard soooooo many people tell me that last year alone so many little girls they know have been named that! Isabella is a nice name too. A few of my kids' friends have been named that and go by the nickname "Bella".

It's a beautiful name!! Also, tell your sister not to worry about what anyone else thinks. As long as she is comfortable with a name it will be fine.
