Hi all moms. My 20 year reunion will be this Oct. I can't believe it.

I started late - so I am a new mom to a 9 mos old. I am lucky the weight came off, but the sleep deprivation has taken its toll!

I'd love some recommendations on how to get rid of puffy eyes/dark circles. UGH. No crow's feet yet - BUT - I do look tired.

Also - any recommendations on softening that line in between my eyebrows? No Botox for me. I'd love to hear from moms that have actually used products/methods they found worked.

Thanks everyone!

Hi G.- I have used the tucks pad too. They do work for puffy but not for lines and crow feet. The best eye products I have used where I have seen results are: StriVectin, Philosophy, and most expensively Skin Medica TNS eye cream. The SriVectin works very well, you actually feel it tingle and best of all, you can buy the cream for the body. As long as you dont have any issues with scented creams. Philosphy is very good too. The skin medica line you can only get at certain derm offices or physician offices that do botox and what not. I had to go to their website to find the closest office to me.

Good luck!

Get a facial! It won't get rid of the dark circles but it may brighten up your whole face and make you feel a lot better. Cucumbers or cold chamomile tea bags are great on the eyes to lessen puffiness-plus you have to lay down while you have them there so there's a tiny bit of rest.

But really, you will NOT be the only one there with puffy eyes and circles, so don't add stress to the mix.

Hi G.! You will have so much fun at your reunion. I am going to my 15 year one in Sept, I totally understand wanting to look great!! I am an Independent Consultant for Arbonne ad I won;t try to sell you anything, but I will recommend that you try the anti-aging eye cream and the Thermal Fusion (sounds scary but makes your skin like butter I swear!!). Both will help the tired puffiness look of your skin. I am sure there is a consultant in your area, you can look one up on the website, or I an help you find one. The products are amazing and you will actually see a difference in your lines pretty quickly. I have had a furrow in between my eyes forever and once I started using the anti-aging products on a regular basis I noticed that they were actually disappearing! My sister even commented on how they were not so pronounced. Anyway, they are worth a try and even better that they are all botanically based and totally vegetarian. So, they are actually good for you to use. If you have any questions just send me an email through mamasource! Good luck and I hope you have a blast and knock everyone's socks off!! K.:)

Hi G.!
My name is K. and I am an Independent Consultant with a company called Arbonne International. I have the perfect products that will help you with your puffiness/dark cirles and will definitely soften the lines! The line is called NutriminC RE9 anti-aging skin care and it not only works but you can see and feel a difference right away. My mom has been using it for over a year now and at 54 she looks like a 35 year old..all the lines around her mouth, crows feet and the overall texture of her skin have dramatically improved and like I said, she looks 20 years younger and AMAZING. You will love these products for sure but if by chance you are not satisfied you can return anything up to 45 days for a full refund.
You can email me at ____@____.com and I can show you how to get the products at a great discount! You will be so excited to go to your reunion after you try these products G., everything is botanically-based, ph correct, not tested on animals, dermatologist tested and more!

Hi G.
I have read that if you put a lil prep h on your eyes it will help with the puffiness in eyes.Models secret.I haven't tried but have read it many times in different mags and books.
I have done the tea bags and it has worked.Nuke two bags and keep putting the warm tea compress on your eyes about ten minutes.
On that night use Visine Drops after tea or prep h,then use white eyeliner under your color liner.Bare Escentuals has a product for eyes called well rested and it is the best item I've ever used under eyes and all over eyelids as a base or by itself.I've tried many highlighters or concealers and have never liked any,but this is great.A little cold water to set it. Curl your lashes whether you use mascara or not it will open up your eyes.
You're on your own with the line between brows,I too have that .QVC has a serum that is lifting for face I forgot the name of it.But I do know that some other stores have similar ones that may be tried in that area.
If your hair and face are good for an asymetrical cut go for it.Or a style with side swept or wispy bangs to cover it a bit.A great hairstyle and color can make even jeans and a tee look fab.
Have fun most importantly. You will great when you exude happiness. Roni

I used Frownies for the line between my eyebrows. They don't work permanently, but you could use it the night before and it would soften it. (Frownies are basically strong adhesives that you put on before bed. They smooth out the lines by stopping you from furrowing...I guess packing tape would work just as well, lol).

Hi G.!
I so get the sleep deprivation thing! I have 4 kids, 21, 18, 8 & 6. None of them were sleepers. I am a Mary Kay consultant and have some great products to help with exactly what you described. We have an awesome under eye gel which has been nick named a "nap in a jar". Some ladies even keep it in the frige for extra soothing. We also have a product that immediately makes the line in between your eyebrows not noticeable and has long term benefits of minimizing wrinkles over time. I would love to tell you more and offer you a complimentary facial & make over. (A great thing right before a reunion!)My website is www.marykay.com/valwhite.Check out all our great products and 100% satisfaction guarantee...you can't lose! I would love to hear from you ###-###-####. With a 9 month old I am sure you would enjoy being the one who is "Pampered" for a change!(Get it? LOL)Good luck with what ever you find for cosmetics and have a great time at your reunion! Val <><

Hey G.,
There is no such thing as starting late! You are still a young mom! There are some things you can do without chemicals, however a gel eyecream will really help with the dark circles. Before you start to use is it you need to exfoliate. The dead skin that we unnoticeably shed collects in our wrinkles. I like to combine my cleanser (eye or face, depending on the area) with some fine cornmeal in the palm of my hand. Small circular movements work well. Also, make some tea (preferably black) with 2 tea bags and once a bit cooled off, squeeze out excess water and lie back with them on each of your eyes (for as long as possible!). This will really help with puffy eyes.

I hope this helps! Of course, sleep is the best thing for us moms! And a good makeover may help since you haven't seen your classmates in 20 years. If you are in my area and are interested let me know. It can be a fun thing for you and your friends from HS before you all leave! I have plenty of references too.

Hi G.!

Sounds like alot of fun!!! I am an independent consultant with The Body Shop At Home. All of our products are vegetarian. I highly suggest either the vitamin e eye cream, which I have tried and no more crow's feet!...or the kinetin eye treatment is also alot of my customer's favorite.

Another line that we just came out with is our new sleep line. Let me tell you, I am always waking up atleast 5 times a night and since I started using the pillow spray I have been hardly waking up during the night. Combine this with whatever you choose to use on your face, as it sounds as if there are lots of great products out there, and I bet you will see and feel a difference, as I have.

Feel free to check out my website: www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/jcolecchi or give me a call at ###-###-#### if you have any further questions that I can help you with!

Good Luck on whatever route you decide to go and have LOTS of fun!

I used a product for my undereye dark circles. The brand is "Pout" and it is a yellow cream that you spread under your eyes. It works great!! It's a little pricy, $25.00 for the tube but I found it worth it!
It's on www.sephoria.com. Good luck and congrats on the reunion, and your baby!

hi G.,
reunions can be intimating but everyone else is thinking the same thing so relax. if you have stayed in touch with anyone give them a call and plan to go together. as far a the eye puffiness i use arbonne. they are the most fabulous products on the market. pure safe and beneficail... the nice thing about the company is we encourage people to try the products before you buy. as far as the brow line we have a new better than botox pen that helps tighten brow lines and crows feet. it reacts on the elastin and collegen in your skin and really works. check out my website www.myurbeautiful.myarbonne.com email me and i'll send out a free sample. thanks K. d

I have been taking customized supplements for 6 months now and so much has improved. Not only has my overall health improved, providing me with more energy, better sleep, improved nails/hair and skin, but most importantly my digestion has significantly improved. I used to have difficulty eliminating, experience bouts of diarrhea (sp?) and horribly debilitating stomach pains. Now in addition to my allergies disappearing, I no longer have the stomach issues.

In response to your question about the tiredness under the eyes, these customized supplements have helped people with this too. My father-in-law had very dark circles under his eyes and after starting on the supplements, they were significantly less.

Let me know if you are interested because I am happy to mail out a sample pack to you.
