Advice for Starting My 1 Month Old on Babywise

I read Babywise before I gave birth to my son and was sure that I could easily implement it right away. But, with family in town, the fact that he was growing so quickly (therefore seemed to need to eat every 2 hours sometimes), and I was HIGHLY emotional and had the "baby blues" I had such a hard time. Advice/Suggestion On Baby Shower Gifts

Hi...My workplace is having a combined baby shower for three women who are expecting this spring. All three are having their first, all are having boys, and all have had other baby showers. The registry items at Babies R Us are all too expensive, especially considering I have to buy three of everything! I would really like to get something original and something they will use or need. Any suggesttions or things YOU got at showers that were special, memorable, or especially thoughtful?

The problem is, he's also getting better and better at getting out of his swaddle (even though we use a SwaddleMe), leading to more times when he can't fall asleep or stay asleep because he's gotten out. We...

Advice on Breaking Baby of Dependence on Swaddling

Hello, Helpful Moms. I have a wonderful 3-month old son who overall is a very good sleeper. My challenge is that he sleeps well only when tightly swaddled, but now that he is bigger and stronger, he breaks out of the swaddle too easily and wakes himself up. I am using the Swaddle-Me blankets with velcro fasteners and I swaddle him very tightly, but he can still get a hand or a foot out when he goes into the lighter sleep phase. Basically, the swaddling no longer works, and I am wondering if any of you have had experience with weening...
