Going Back to School in 6 months..worried.

My daughter is almost 13 months old now, but i am dying to get back to nursing school. I am supposed to start in august, and the schedule is Mon-Thurs 7am - 3:30 pm for a year. My fiance and his mom are able to take turns taking care of her while i'm at school, which is great cause she adores them both (ESPECIALLY grandma!!) I know i have some time to work things out, but, my concerns are: 1) i am still nursing her and don't know how/when to start weaning her. I'm sad to give it up...But she wants to nurse alllll the time. For comfort,...

Sippy Cup Recommendations Needed

I'd like to transition my 23 mo. old daughter from the Nuby 2-handle, very soft spout sippy cup to something with a little harder spout (although not too hard). Our daughter has gotten much more interested in getting the liquid to come out of her sippy cup than actually drinking it and the soft spout of the Nuby brand has gotten a little too easy for her I'm afraid (although I highly recommend it). In the past, she's had difficulty drinking from hard-spout cups (with or without the valve), so I'm hoping to find another 2-handle cup that's...

Sippy Cup Choice

Ok ladies, I have my son on Nuby sippy's....one of my friends told me the other day her pediatrician said that Nuby was bad for the teeth and jaw development because it is still soft nipple like a bottle. I know all doctors are different and believe in different ways but have any of you heard this? I tried all kinds of sippy's and Nuby is the only one my baby likes to drink out of....do you suggest me to try any other kind?

How Do I Switch My Son to a Sippy Cup/

Hello. My son is 15 months old and WILL NOT take a sippy. I have bought just about every type I can and he will refuse all of them. He will take the Nuby one for a coupld sips than he ends up just banging it on things and spilling it everywhere. I know I need to just only offer the sippy, but then he won't drink and he gets really constipated. So, after trying the sippy a coule of times, I just end up giving in and letting him have the bottle. Does anybody have any advice for me on what worked for you? I would appreciate it. Thanks.
