We have several favorites that we frequent... I don't know exactly what you mean by super nice.. We have several that are super nice and most are pricey but well worth it.

Del Frisco's....... ABSOLUTE 5 star fantastic service and dinner. I love the dark wood and "club" atmosphere. Pricey... when hubby and I go our bill is well over $200+ for the 2 of us which includes a couple glasses of wine. If we buy a bottle of wine price goes way up.

III Forks.... Great food, great service and high end like Del Frisco's but more of a Country feel about it. Again... $200+ for the 2 of us and couple glasses of wine.

Ruth Chris Steak House... another great steak place with great service. $200+ for the 2 of us and couple glasses of wine.

Fogo de Chau in Addison is unique and very good. I love the salad bar. They have a variety of meats. You are given a round circle coaster type card and when you turn it to the green side, the servers come with all sorts of meat for you to try. Then you turn it to the red side until you want more. It is also pricey, at least $50 per person for food only.

Maggiano's (Plano or NorthPark Mall) and Patrizios (Plano, Allen, Highland Park) are more moderately priced, very good and nice family atmosphere. We like the Patrizios located in Highland Park best with Allen coming in 2nd.

The French Room located in the Adolphus is OMG wonderful and VERY pricey. Men must wear a jacket.

Kobe Steaks in Addison... Japanese style.. Great food

Melting Pot - Addison. Fondue fun $$$$

Jaspers in the Shops of legacy

Bob's Chop House.. Lemmon Ave and Shops of Legacy.

We've enjoyed ALL of these restaurants from time to time. our all time favorite has to be Del Frisco's.

Enjoy!

TF has great suggestions, I love all those places.

My husband and I also like Seasons 52. It's in the Shops at Legacy and everything on their menu is 500 calories or less, but you still get great food and enough food for the money.

My girlfriend has been taking me to the neatest places. Do you have a nice spanish tapas restaurant? She took me to one near here. It was amazing! Sometimes the best places are not chains. They are small, reservation only, BYOB jems :)

My favorite restaurant is Del Frisco's. There is one in Dallas and in Ft. Worth, but the one in Ft. Worth is my favorite. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fabulous! We often get cards from our servers the week after we eat there, thanking us for visiting. It's very personalized, referring to conversations that we had with our server, and the food that we ordered. It's such a nice touch!
