Hi Moms!

I'm wanting to get feedback from anyone who has delivered at Sky Ridge Medical in Lone Tree. What did you love about it? What did you hate about it? I've heard very conflicting stories on whether or not this is a good place to have a baby. I delivered at Rose Medical Center in Denver and loved it, but now live much closer to Sky Ridge. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I delivered at Sky Ridge and had a wonderful experience. I do agree with Sarah, your experience really depends on the nurses you get. All of mine were great, I had a C-section and was there for 6 days between labor and recovery. Have you taken the Sky Ridge tour? They give you a good feel for what their perspective is on care and treatment for each delivery. I had the choice of Littleton and Sky Ridge ultimately it was the type of care that made my decision to go with Sky Ridge. The bonus was location and private tubs in each room.

I delivered my first at Pres./St Lukes. Everyone was nice enough but the room was so tiny we were climbing the walls one day after my c-section. I had my second at Sky Ridge and was so much more relaxed. The room was bigger, all of the staff was great, loved the food plus they have a playground if you have any little visitors.

I have heard conflicting stories about nearly every doctor, nurse, hospital......Check into their statistics. Those are much more objective.

I delivered my son at parker and my daughter at sky ridge and if I were to have another I would probably go back to sky ridge. I had an excellent after care nurse with parker but a better delivery nurse at skyridge. There are the same issues at every hospital it all depends on who you get stuck with while youre there :)
