Seeking High Risk OB/GYN in Highlands Ranch/Lone Tree Area

Hello! I just moved to Colorado two weeks ago. We are planning baby #2. My first pregnancy was high risk, so I am looking for recommendations for high risk OB's in our area. For a good doctor, I wouldn't mind driving downtown, but would prefer to stay in our area. We live on the border of Highlands Ranch and Lone Tree. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I am on pregnancy #3 -- all high risk. I use Dr. Debra Bowman -- she is out of Littleton Hospital area Broadway/Mineral. Love her and would not go this without her. ###-###-#### -- Good luck!

C.,
Matthew Breeden with Rocky Mt Women's Care is just awesome! He is downtown at Presbyterian/St Lukes. I drove from Littleton and I work in Hranch. He has the greatest bedside manner and my husband and I felt so blessed to have him throughout the pregnancy. I saw him every 2 weeks at first and then every week about 10 weeks prior to delivery. He is just the best! ###-###-#### is his number, if I remember correctly. If not look him up in the book. You won't be sorry and PSL is a high risk delivery hospital too!!

I really like Rocky Mountain OB/GYN. They're at Sky Ridge Hospital (I-25 & Lincoln - Lonetree)and Rose Hospital (9th & Colorado). They're not exclusively "high risk" but they partner with high risk specialists (in the Rose office) if additional testing needs to be done. I had some high risk circumstances with my recent second delivery. All of the doctors are great but I especially like Dr. Levy. Best of luck!

Dear C.,
I have had one preemie at 24 weeks and used Maternal-
Fetal Medicine at 18th and Franklin, St. Joseph's Hospital for my second. They were superb. I started labor early again, and they had me in the hospital and under control within hours. I spent 8 weeks on hospital bedrest and the doctors were fabulous - I had a healthy 8lb son born at 37 weeks.

take care, S.

I had a FANTASTIC OB/GYN (to my knowledge she is also a High Risk OB/GYN but you can always call and check on it) Her name is Jyl Voss she is with the OB/GYN Center and she works out of Sky Ridge Medical Center. I delivered both my kids there. It is very nice. Your appointments are in the Aspen Building. I really liked her bedside manor..she seem so personally invested in ME and the baby (as i should be right?) and she was so straight forward and honest. Phone is ###-###-####. Best Wishes!

Hi C.. I am a massage therapist in the HR area and I specialize in prenatal massage. Over the years I have worked with hundreds of pregnant women. When I first got pregnant 5 years ago, I started asking all these women where they went for OB care. The name that kept coming up was Littleton OB/GYN, Dr's Dorr & Watson. I had my 2nd child with them last year and couldn't have been happier with my care. Now, I personally am not high risk...but I have many clients that are and they all highly recommend Dr Watson. (I even have some clients working in that field...nurses in labor/deliv, anesthesiologist, etc...that choose Dr Watson.) They are at Littleton and Mineral, right by Littleton hospital. The number is ###-###-####. Good luck!

I'm not sure of drs south down here, but my amazing high risk ob was Greg Lindsey, 4500 E. 9th Ave. #210 South, Denver 80220 - he is out of Rose & his partner is out of Swedish. He and his staff were fantastic during my last two pregnancies, one of which was twins.

I would highly recommend the Pediatrix-Obstetrix group. The doctor I saw was Kent Heyborne, but honestly I spent just a much if not more time with the PAs and nurses (I practically lived there toward the end of my pregnancy!), and they were all amazing. Their website is http://www.pediatrix.com/colorado/homepage_hosp.cfm?id=53

I hope you have a happy, healthy pregnancy.

Dr. Stettler at Obstetrix is great! He consulted with my OB on both my pregnancies, and took great care of a friend of mine who had twins with some pretty serious issues. He is very nice and calm (I really needed that). Good luck to you!!

I see you have had a lot of great responses.
I used JYL VOSS for both my kids. I feel she is conservative and with that i ended up being safe and so were both my kids. I had some placental issues and she referred me to Dr. Stettler at Pediatrix-Obstetrix for monitoring via US. (She also refers to someone else but, Dr. Stettler's office was more convienent for my DH to join me)
She has a great bedside manor. She is busy but, she takes the time to answer any questions you may have.
good luck and welcome to CO

Hi.
I had a high risk pregnancy as well, and was referred to one of the best OB/GYN in the area. His name is Dr. Dorr and he is with Littleton Ob/Gyn Associates. They are very close to the Highlands Ranch area, off Broadway and C-470. I HIGHLY recommend him, and his staff are wonderful! They took amazing care of me.
Anyways, here is his phone #, if you want to check him out:

Hi C.!
I also love Rocky mouintain OB/GYN, expecially Dr. Levy, but he's only working out of Rose now, not Sky Ridge. Dr. D'Ambrosia there is awesome, too, if you want to see her. I was high risk in my pregnancy, so Dr. Levy had me also see Dr. Stettler at Obstetrix for my ultrasounds and screenings. He was great, and they specialize in high risk cases. Here is their info:

Hello
I recommend Rocky Mountain OB/GYN. They were so wonderful with my second baby, who was born in October. I only went to the Sky Ridge office and saw Dr Miller because I was a planned C Section. Best of Luck

Cinday, I highly recommend Dr Kenneth Moss. His office is at the corner of HR Pkwy and University. He delivered both of my girls. I found both him and his entire staff to be a real delight. Hi C.,

Sheri Gipson is right near you at Sky Ridge Medical Center. She is wonderful. My friend recommended Dr. Gipson to me after her high-risk delivery with her first. She's delivers all babies herself and has only missed two. (Actually, I was one of two deliveries she missed because my baby arrived so quickly. But it worked out fine and I really liked the on-call doctor she works with.)

Welcome to Colorado!

I was in the same boat as you! I reached out to the moms at my middle child's preschool...I had more than one recommendation for Horizon Women's Care. They are in a building at Skyridge Hospital in Lone Tree...that hospital is like a resort! There are 3 women doctors in the practice and they are all wonderful. I mainly used Oster and Scariano. Oster was my primary and delivered my baby, although I would have been happy with any of them. I didn't get to see Baack as much, but I really liked her and would've been fine if she'd been at the delivery. Anyway, they gave me a wonderful experience and the hospital is beautiful. ###-###-#### By the way, I was on bedrest for the entire last trimester of my first baby. #2 and #3 had absolutely no problems.

My OB specializes in high risk pregnancies, and I can't say enough good things about him - he is fantastic (and the first male OB I've seen in 20 years). We moved here when I was about 7 1/2 months pregnant with our first child, and I had to be induced for low amniotic fluid. Although he was not on call, he stayed the whole night at the hospital b/c this was our first child and we didn't know any of the other doctors in the practice. He ended up doing an emergency c-section at 3 am! We have a healthy 18 mnth old now - and I credit Dr. Lingle with being on top of any potential issues during the pregnancy as well as his attentiveness during the birth.

Also, since I'm officially old and my baby boy was a tiny guy for full term, I'm seeing a doctor at Pediatrix - Obstetrix who used to be in the same practice as Dr. Lingle. He now specializes in genetics and high risk pregnancies. He is very calm and has a great bedside manner - this is week 30 of pregnancy #2 - no issues yet so I can't say how he'd deal with that.

Hello C.,
My Ob was referred to me by my Dr.(Dr. Natan Persoff-Family Prac), who I trust implicitly and was nearly devistated when he said he could not deliver my son. Dr. Persoff told me of a story of two Dr.'s wives who had the same high risk pregnancy condition (I can not remember what it was specifically). The two OB's he had in mind treated these women. He suggested Dr. Robert Gore, because he caught the condition 3 weeks earlier than the other Dr, thereby treating it earier and made the pregnancy/birth much less traumaic. While seeing Dr. Gore, he recommended after my 16 week quad screen, having a special ultrasound, as one of the tests was elevated. This was a sign of either spinabifida (which it wasn't) or a very early sign pre-eclamsia (which it was). He started to treat me right away with low dose aspirin, even though there was no sigh of high blood pressure. Sure enough week 35 came along and my bood pressure went nuts. He was there for me every step of the way, supporting me emotionally and physically. I was in and out of the hospital that week and was induced at week 36 after an amnio said my son's lungs were fully developed. We both turned out alright, because Dr. Gore was on top of things. I am now pregnant with my second and wouldn't imagine seeing anyone else. Dr. Gore has two offices one at Swedish Medical Ctr and one at Sky Ridge. The phone # at Swedish is:
Dr. Robert Gore

Rocky Mountain OBGYN is AWESOME. Dr. Levy delivered my daughter - he is fabulous as is Dr. Mill (Female). I have a kidney disease so my pregnancy could have been high risk, but my blood pressure was normal and I had a flawless delivery. The people here are caring & kind. You will love it.
