What OB do you all go to? I have always went to Naval Hospital on Camp Pendleton and I had a bad experience with my labor there and them not being very "friendly" Any advice would help

What can I do next?

Yes, military hospitals are not necessarily known for their expertise with women's health...

Two OB/GYNs I can highly recommend: Robert Biter and Angelica Zaid, both in Encinitas.

I also go to Dr. Langley in Vista. He's very personable and will spend the extra time with you. I switched to him with my second child after my previous OB refused to see me early on with a semi-high risk background. He's with North Coast Women's Care on Vista Way (right next to Tri-City Hospital).

Dr. Anthony Bianchi is great; offices in Fallbrook and Temecula.
The person below recommended Dr. Zaid and while I'm pleased to hear she had a good experience with her, I had a horrible experience with her and would never go back. If your pregnancy is normal and healthy and you have no problems, I'm sure she's fine. However, if you have any serious issues, you get no help from her and actually the opposite; I was left to my own to take care of everything when my amnio came back with really, really bad news. Dr. Zaid was just not good at all.

We live in Temecula and work in Carlsbad. After researching the closest hospital to Temecula, which is in Murrieta, I knew I didn't want to deliver at that hospital so I looked elsewhere. I decided to go with a Dr. closer to my work and opt to deliver at Scripps La Jolla. When time comes near we are going to live with the in-laws in Oceanside to cut down on the commute to the hospital in case it's at one of those "trafficy hours". Anyway, I started with 1 OB and didn't care for him, his staff or his take on delivery. I switched to Dr. Jonathan Dunn (recommended by a co-worker) and am more than pleased. He’s part of the Scripps Physicians Network located right off the 5 and 56 freeways and is in a much larger office with multiple Dr.'s and nurses. The staff is great and I feel comfortable going there. Not sure if Del Mar/La Jolla area is out of the question for you, but I think he's worth a shot if you're willing to travel a little.
