The seed my son swallowed was not huge, but it wasn't small either. He wanted to get the last little fruit pulp out of the seed... Oops!

What can I do next?

It sounds like it is probably harmless........... of course, as the other mom said, watch to see that it passes. Personally, I would only be concerned if there are signs of abdominal discomfort.

I agree it should pass out of the system.. as one of my kids swollen a peach seed, and it did pass..
if tummy starts hurting, or it doesn't pass, call your dr then.

My daughter has eaten several apple cores...I have no advice! Just thought I would share another seed story.

Watch out! He will grow a plum tree in his tummy. That's what my mom always told me.

Ha ha just kidding. Good luck. Hope you got a smile from this.

I would only worry if it had any sharp edges. Otherwise, he'll probably just poop it out. Good luck and God Bless!

Wouldn't worry to much. Will probably pass out in the next 24hrs into the toilet. I would make sure to watch for it to make sure it passes. It might hurt coming out some. The only thing you can do is watch for abdominal pain. If he has any beyond a normal upset tummy or cramping from bowel movements than I would call the pediatrician and explain the situation and go from there. If no symptoms, then just wait for it to pass. But make sure it does. I would definately tell him the last little bit wasn't worth that much worry!!! LOL! If you really wanted him to be careful in the future you could tell him you hope it passes before it starts to grow out of his ears, but that might give him some phobia bout fruits and seeds. He may never get over it and then blame you for his aversion to fruits and veggies, and how you warped him for life. LOL!!
Good luck and hope everything comes out ok in the end!!
