Jared's just outside Collin Creek does an excellent job. They are trustworthy and reasonable.

I have bought a couple things at Ben Bridge at North Park (there is also one in Stonebriar) and they are great. Kind of pricey but they have a great reputation and do great work. My husband and I both had work done on our rings there.
Good luck!

Awesome jeweler in McKinney. ElDorado and 75. Windsor Jewelers. Family owned and very nice. They also fixed my loose stone. Good Luck.

Hello. I worked for Kay Jewelers for a while. First, it is absolutely normal for diamonds to become loose eventhough they are set in platinum. Almost all diamonds become loose depending on how they are set. In fact, I have two loose stones in my ring that need repair. I recommend Kay's for several reasons. They are very trustworthy and kind. They will plot your diamond on the repair ticket which notes any markings that can help identify your diamond if anything did happen. Kay's has a Gemscope that you can use to look at your diamond and see its characteristics as well as what needs to be repaired. For example, I have taken my ring into another store to have it cleaned and all they use is a loupe. No one has told me that I have any loose stones besides Kay's thanks to the gemscope. The sales person will ask you the value of your ring and record the value. If anything did happen to your ring (which I have never seen happen) they will replace it for you. The Kay's repair shops are with in the company and they do not ship to outside vendors or shops. If you let me know what city you live in I can recommend a store for you to go to. I will warn you. Platinum is expensive to repair since it is pure unlike gold. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I would love to help.
