Does anyone know of a good jeweler in the N. Fort Worth/Keller/Southlake area? I am looking for someone to make a custom mother's ring with my kid's birthstones and also someone I can trust to clean and size my wedding ring.

My Jeweler, in Euless right off 121 is a fantastic place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the work the owner does is incredible. I had a 5 diamond marquise cut wedding band and was ready for a change. I wanted a saphire and 2 of the original diamonds made into a new band. I worked with them for a couple of weeks, going through catalogs until I was happy with the design. I knew the specs I wanted, and they worked around them, adding to my design making it perfect. You wouldn't know it but they have an incredible clientel, that Tiffany stores would covet. They just don't scream money. Be wary of those stores with the beautiful furniture and lighting, set in the most shopping destinations. All that stuff costs money, that you pay for in the end. Of course those employees are going to be nice, they get a commision!
If you're going south on 121 it's on the left near hobby lobby, it has a black awning with "My Jeweler" on it.

Hands down, over the top, do not pass go - Richard March, March Jewelers on Pipeline in Hurst in the same strip center as Toys r us. I cannot recommend him enough. He did a custom diamond pendant for me - looks vintage - and everyone goes crazy over it. J.
I really like Abe's Jewelers in Keller. They just moved to their new location on Main St in one of the new shopping strips. They have done a great job for my family, and are very nice people!
Luxor Jewelers in the Colleyville Town Square is wonderful. My husband had my wedding ring made there and it is the best. They clean it for free now every time I go in for other things. If you go in tell them the Mathson's sent you.
Collections Fine Jewelry - Saginaw.... sounds far but it is right off 820 and north on Blue Mound, on the left hand side. I had my husbands ring made there and my mom had a ring made. They are very reasonably priced, got a quote for my husbands ring at another jeweler (Luxor) for $1150, they did it for $350.

Why don't you try J & G Jewelers on Airport Freeway in Bedford? Jean and Glen have been doing work for my husband and me for years. They have a small family operation, and they're fair, friendly and do good work. I believe they're closed on Mondays, so you might call first--###-###-####.
We started using them when we lived in Colleyville, but kept using them after moving to Southlake and now, Keller. They're worth the drive.

My husband & I have gone to Van at Village Jewelers in Southlake Town Center for 10 years now. He used to be at another location and we actually found where he had gone and went to his new location! He helped custom design my engagement ring, my wedding ring and my husband has had him custom design a necklace and earrings for me. My mom also went to him to custom design a ring for my sister. He does an amazing job and the quality is superb.

Troy Vinson Jewelry is who my grandmother, mother, and I have used for years and years. He is located near Hulen Mall, however. We trust him implicitly.

Luxor jewelers in colleyville village is great. They sized my wedding ring and dipped it in whit gold for $75. They also make custom jewelry.
I second the suggestion to use Collections in Saginaw. They've made custom jewelry for me, and always done a great job.
Collections is awesome... they will do anything custom that you can think of plus they have the technicians and stones onsite. However, you get the savings because you pay cash or layway. Cool thing is that as long as you keep proof of payment, they will issue you a credit (very cool when you want to upgrade the wedding ring!)
Collections in Saginaw makes custom jewelry at reasonable prices. It is on Saginaw main street. They made my wedding band exactly how I wanted it and did a WONDERFUL job!
I agree with Jessica - I would trust Troy and his co-workers at Troy Vinson's Jewelers with my most valuable treasures - but he is by Hulen Mall in SW Fort Worth so that is probably not close enough to you. They have been in business for AGES and have an incredible reputation for excellence - especially with the SW and West Fort Worth folks.
Collections Fine Jewelry - Saginaw.. They do great work. A friend recommended them to my brother to have his wedding ring redone and then he told me about them. They made a grandmother/mothers ring for our mother. It looks great and she loves it. They were very reasonable priced. I went to many jewelers and they either would not do what I wanted or charged me twice as much. I live in Lewisville and drove to Saginaw. I would make the drive again. They also did it in a reasonable amount of time. It has been 6 years this Christmas so I can not remember the price.
Bailey, Banks, and Biddle. They have a store in Southlake Town Center and also Northeast Mall. I worked for them for many years and are very trustworthy.
We have used pieter Andries in Southlake and have been very happy with them. He and his wife are great, and he has a wonderful staff that will take the time to hear what you are looking for.

I absolutely recommend Luxor jewelers in the Village at Colleyville. They have made many things for us including my engagement ring and both mine and my husband's wedding band's. They will quote you a price for what you want and will make sure that they get it right.
