This is so embarrassing - but I'm hoping someone can help me :).
Every 4-5 years my deodorant just stops working - yup just one day I start to stink and I need to find a new anti pers./ deodorant. Odd, I know. Unfortunately it usually takes me about a month or two and I have to purchase every product under the sun...
My question is - does anyone know how to remove body odor from cotton shirts? Like really get it out?! I just bought all new shirts and I've ruined 1/2 of them. Also does anyone know of anything homeopathic that I can do to assist a drug store product (of which I've tried them ALL). Thank you!!

Lemon juice and baking soda as well - the lemon juice smells better. Apply the baking soda DIRECTLY to the pit and then add the lemon juice and let the "bubbling" begin - then wash...

Soak your smelly stuff in a bucket of hot water with a big scoop of Biz dissolved in it..... Overnight if you can and then wash as usual.
Amazing stuff for stains and smells.... Works for my husband's stinky gym clothes..... They get the residual BO smell after a while and a
good overnight soaking does the trick.
Yes, thoroughly pre-spray the armpits, inside and out, with Spray-N-Wash or Shout, let it sit for an hour or so, and then wash as usual. That has always worked for me. It gets residual odor out, as well as occasional yellow stains.
dab your pits with baking soda! you can make a paste with just a bit of water and just dab it on with your finger.
i had the deodorant issue until i started using crystal stones of america's spritz. well, i've only been using it for about 3 years, and it's certainly not perfect. but i live on the hot humid east coast, and am outside all summer long, so nothing is going to work on me all the time.

spray the arm pits with vinegar and let sit for ten minutes or so add baking soda and wash after. that should help
Secret Clinical Strength deodorant is very good, pricier yes but worth it.
Tide Release packs, it can get the smell out of anything!! Tide laundry soap alone works great - my husband is a construction worker and he can get quite stinky when his clothes are washed you can't even tell that he got all hot and sweaty in them.
Have you tried adding Borax to your laundry?
An Oxyclean soak will take the smell out and any staining.
You could try using antibacterial soap on your underarms too.
Can't they use Botox under your arms to keep you from sweating? I have heard that is helpful for some people. Might be worth asking your dermatologist about.
As far as removing smells from cotton, have you tried color-safe bleach? (Clorox 2 or similar) That usually helps. Or, if you know someone with a steam washer, wash the shirts using steam in the Sanitize cycle. I have a Samsung washer with steam, and they get my husband's disgustingly stinky rugby socks clean and smelling nice, and I just use regular laundry detergent - so I would say that the sanitize/steam cycle should do the trick!
My BO really changed after my first child, it took me 2 years to figure out how to easily control it.
1) Irish Spring original bar soap for showering
2) Certain Dir antiperspirant ( follow directions!)
doing both of these has taken away all bad body oder. as far as the shirts go, try the suggestions below.
