Anyone Been to Kirby's Steakhouse in Southlake?

I've never been to JR's, but I've been to Kirby's in Southlake 3 times and each time it got progressively worse. The first time, I was thoroughly impressed, but each time after that, the food and service went downhill. Now, when we think of a good steak place, it's no longer on our top 5 list. It's good mind you. I just think there are better places out there. At least compared to my last visit. The food and service at the Silver Fox in Grapevine (just a few miles away from Kirby's in Southlake) provided excellent service and the food was terrific! But I think the best steak I've ever had was at Ruth's Chris in North Dallas. Congratulations on your Anniversary!

We just went to Kirby's for our anniversary and it was good O cannot say great the steaks need to be seasoned a little more. We love Silver Fox on University they have great steaks. Del Frisco's can be hit or miss just depends we have had great dinners there and then average dinners. Reata and Blades are great places to eat not sure if I would say the best steak I have ever eaten. My husband and I were just talking about our favorite steak place and it would have to be H3 Ranch and Grill in cowtown they always have served us a great meal.

I would think that they're both pretty comparable. I've been to JR's since I was at Kirby's... haven't been to Kirby's in over a year...but went to JR's in June.

If you want the BEST steak around, you'll need to go to downtown Fort Worth, however, and eat at Del Friscos.... that place is FANTASTIC!!!

Reatta in FTW downtown is our Fav!! Del Frisco's not impressed!! I've heard Bob's is awsome too, they just opened off Main St in Grapevine. Have Fun!!!
