Thursday is my tenth wedding anniversary. We want to go somewhere nice, but not too expensive. We are thinking steak, but we are open to any suggestions!

Hi T.,
I am in the wine industry thus have the opportunity to dine out frequently.
I must say that we are so lucky to be in DFW where their are so many steak houses.
Since we don't know where you are located, my pick is Pappas Steak House around NW Hwy and 35. I love the dark, rich decor, the splendid ambiance altogether, and their steaks and service are my favorite. My husband agrees with me completely and we have checked them all out!. You really can't lose anywhere in town if you tell the person taking your reservation first that it is your anniversary, then, mention it again to your server if you get a chance. We have some of the best steak restaurants in our area who are willing to step up. Best advise; if you want a steak, go to one of the many of our steak places. Go TX.
Congratulations! Best dining.

Hi T.,
If you and your husband are looking for a nice place to go for your 10th anniversary, I would highly recommend Perry's Steakhouse. My husband and I go there every year for our anniversary (been married 7 years), and we spend about $120 for our meal (that's with a salad each, wonderful steak, a glass of wine each and we split our dessert). If you go, make sure you get a reservation, and ask for a booth in the restaurant. It's quiet and it's perfect for a 10th anniversary!

Hope that helps!

I think you guys should dress up and really celebrate. With kids, its hard enough to get time to yourselves, so make this evening special. Before dinner, you could go to the The Crow Collection of Asian Art. It contains more than 600 paintings, objects of metal and stone, and large architectural pieces from China, Japan, India, and Southeast Asia. Its free and open til 9 pm on Thursdays. 2010 Flora Street, ###-###-####. Also, the Dallas Museum of Art is open til 9 on Thursdays. http://dallasmuseumofart.org/Dallas_Museum_of_Art/index.htm. Or you could see the Rockettes perform at the Nokia Grand Prairie theatre at 7:30 on Thur,Nove 30. Tickets are $25 I think. What else? Oh, there's an ice exhibit which contains Christmas and winter themed sculptures all carved from 2 million pounds of ice at the Gaylord convention center in Grapevine. They're open until 9 pm as well.

Then you guys should head somewhere nice for dinner, like the hotel zaza! They have a delicous restaurant(Dragonfly) and a wonderfully romantic bar with a pool. http://www.hotelzaza.com/
Get pretty, have a glass of champagne, giggle, and get flirty with each other. :)

Having been to several nice steak houses in the metroplex I highly recommend Del Frescos. I feel it is better than the majority of them. The steak is delicious, but so are all the sides and other main courses they offer. We go there every year for our anniversary!

Congrats.

i'm a vegetarian but my husband eats enough steak for the two of us and is always on a quest for the perfect steak in dallas. we've tried sullivan's (one of his favorites), smith and wollensky, ruth's chris, 3 forks, nick and sam's, bob's steak and chop house and del frisco's. all, with the exception of 3 forks, were reasonably priced. many are in 'steakhouse row' on the tollway north of 635.

congratulations on your anniversary.
