Almost 4 Year Old with Chronic Stuffy Nose

I am back again! My lo has a stuffy nose it seems all the time. She has food and environmental allergies, tested positive to 4 trees but nothing else. Right now i understand she is reacting to tree pollen but i wonder why she is congested all the other times. I have her bed elevated, use a humidifier, give her local honey, decaff green tea, good nutition ( when she eats it), vicks, saline spray, keep her room dusted and vacummed.....what else can i do? Cough and Croup

Hi ladies. I have a 4 year old who has had a good cold for about a week now. The last 4 nights it has been croupy sounding. This is very normal for his colds ever since he was a baby. We put the humidifier on in his room, rub Vicks on his chest and feet with socks, take him outside to suck in the cool air, run the shower for steam, etc at night but nothing has really seemed to help but time. Last night was terrible for him. Are there any other things out there that people have done that helps the cough? Thanks ladies!

Pulmicort - Steroids for Asthma/Lung Issues

Do any of you have children who have taken Pulmicort or another steroid for asthma/lung issues. My son was born 3 months premature and therefore had immature lungs. In addition he had a chest tube for a pneumo-thorax and pneumonia all in the first two weeks of life, came home on oxygen, etc. This was all a year ago and he's doing incredible.
