Homemade pizza dough (http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/amazing-whole-wheat-pizza-c... - freeze 1/2 for another Friday!), topped with olive oil and garlic, mozzarella, blue cheese, fresh raw asparagus, and granny smith apple. Sounds weird, but YUM!

It's wine and cheese picnic night at our house (it's my birthday, yay!). We're having bread, kasseri cheese, olives, prosciutto rolls stuffed with figs and goat cheese, and a nice French wine. Romantic and yummy!

We are supposed to have chicken with fried tacos (flautas) but I don't feel like cooking now. Maybe pizza? I don't have a clue.
For chicken nuggets, my kids actually like having mashed potatoes with gravy-or even plain. Also beans would be good. For hubby, he could make a nugget burrito or taco putting everything. That's what mine would do.

Tonight: chicken and sausage gumbo over brown rice (and I add okra and tomatoes and don't care what anyone has to say about it) :)

As for your "SWH": for homemade chicken tenders I'd do some mashed potatoes and green peas. Make tenders instead of nuggets, and maybe some white gravy or homemade honey mustard, to make it more "adult" for hubby?

Freezer pizza for the kiddos tonight, it's Movie night for them! The older boys, 20 & 17 will be watching their little siblings, 8, 6 & (almost) 4! They will be watching 'Beauty and The Beast' and a 'Toy Story' Marathon!

~Hubby and I have a date with the in-laws to have dinner out (Anthony's Seafood place) and then we are going to see 'Beauty & The Beast' at our local Opera House...hope the Broadway version of this is good and I don't fall asleep! :) All these Broadway type shows are lost on me, sadly...they are just not my thing... but my in-laws buy us four season tickets and we go to ALL the shows every year! Can you hear my enthusiasm? Season's almost over!! I am a terrible person...

I made a roast. I halved two onions and browned them in some oil, then removed them and browned some chunky carrots and removed them to a plate. I added some more oil and added a 4 lb. chuck roast seasoned with salt and pepper ~ browned it on both sides, removed it, and deglazed the pan with beef broth. Add the roast and veggies, along with a few sprigs of fresh thyme and rosemary and filled the Dutch oven up to half of the roast with more broth. (red wine works too) I put it in a 275 degree oven for 4 hrs. (weight of roast). It was really good, they said. (I can't eat beef) I thought it was super easy once I had the ingredients. I got the recipe from Food Network.
