I am planning to buy something that can work best on laminated wooden floor, tiles and carpet. So far am using an old Bissell vacuum cleaner for all kind of floors but am not satisfied with it. Sometimes i sweep and mop the laminated wooden floor but it looks really time consuming. Should i buy steam cleaner for laminated wooden floor?
What about the tile floor then? Can it be used on tiles also. What do you use and what will you suggest. I want to buy just one product that can work on all floors.

What can I do next?

I have tile and laminate floors.
Laminate on my stairs and upstairs in my hallway and large master bedroom closet.
The company that installed it, "Professionals" had told me you NEVER want to get the laminate really wet and also DO not put any kind of chemoicals on the laminate as over time it will lift.
I only use a damp mop/water at times where maybe there's spills, etc.
In my hallway upstairs, it mostly gets dusty, and I use a dry swiffer shaped mop (Larger)that I had bought at the Home Show at the Fairgrounds. It has adjustable handles, which is awesome!
It's a material that had felcro on the mop and you just toss it in the laundry when done cleaning.
I LOVE the swiffer pads also-as I use it on my ceramic tile.
For the hard to clean-creffis tile-I use the Dry Erase and it's remarkable what it picks-sucks up.
Hope this helps.

Hi, we just bought a Eureka Enviro vac from Walmart. It has different settings so when you go from carpet to bare floor you just change the setting. It's bagless, comes with attachments for corners, upholstery and drapes, and it saves energy too. It's also pretty lightweight but it does the job. Good luck!

I love my Shark steam mop!
I used it at my last home that was all cheapy IKEA laminate flooring and it made it sparkle (no streaking). I continue to use it at my new home which is all white cermanic tile.
I use it three or four times a week. You never even work up a sweat using it, it totally does all the cleaning for you!
